  1. Sold out quickly does not necessarily mean that they stay that way. Especially with new or special cruises, many people will pay the opening day deposit but re-think the situation before the penalty date. Don't give up on booking a cruise till well after the penalty date![/quote

Yes we got a wonderful rate on a Panama Canal trip a few years ago like that.

  2. I am surprised to hear this, given how popular most of DCL's cruises are nowadays regardless of itineraries.

I agree. It sure seems that all the ones I want on are sold quickly!! This news came from cast member friends of mine.

  3. We always bring little liquid soap pods. I double bag them in ziplock baggies and put them in the middle of the suitcase. We have never had a problem. 10 or so of them take so much less room than powder and are cheaper than the on ship dispensers. Each to his own.

  4. Hello all,

My wife and three kids (ages 13,12 & 9) are planning on taking a cruise sometime next year. We are currently debating between a 4 night Disney Dream Bahamas cruise OR a 7 night Caribbean Harmony of the Seas cruise. What are your thoughts?

I would choose Disney over RCL in a heartbeat, but would choose 7 days over 4 so wow what a choice you have.

  5. We are jumping ship from Disney due to high prices. We are cruising on the Liberty soon. This will be our first cruise on RCCL. After reading through some posts, it seems that the food on the Liberty is not very good. Is that your impression? Can you give me advice on the food and the restaurants? Thanks !

  6. We are going on the EBTA in August. By that time we will be platinum. After that cruise we will be jumping ship to a Princess with a land and cruise for 16 days in a suite that is $3000 cheaper that the Disney around the British Isles this summer was on opening day. We also had a veranda room on deck five ( Wonder out of Galveston) that we are switching for a Grand Suite on the Liberty of the Seas for $2000 cheaper -same itinerary and time of year. We love Disney but can't justify the cost.
