I waited until midnight, and scored a (maybe) upgrade from Triangle to Plus sign, Room 15262.

Is this better than 15266? If so, I will just book that and be done.

Only other option is to wait closer to cruise and pay last minute deals because I am so close to August 14 sailing. Do not know how that plays out? The whole waiting game. Thanks!

Follow-up. I know passengers can do a 1 day curtesy hold on a preferred pick at the time. Is it good to wait until midnight to see if some rooms release and have a pick at those? Anyone played with that option?

Hello, Is a balcony room (15th floor) right underneath the Garden Cafe buffet on the 16th deck a problem? Smells, tromping sounds?

It is either this or upgrade to mid-ship and go down to 13th/14th floor?

I am booking on the Escape in August. I am curious about the Drink and Dining Packages as included in the Fun at Sea Promotion. I am booking a balcony and plan on getting both.

Are there any bars or specialty restaurants that will not accept these packages? I heard that Food Republic is not included in packages. What about Jimmy Buffet's and the rest of them; are they included?

Any tips on using packages wisely? And How are reservations handled? First come first serve at the specialty dining?

Hello, Have read many reviews on MCS Devina. I've cruised NCL and Carnival. I'm 34 and ready to pull the trigger for my girlfriend and I on the Devina in September to Caribbean. Any thoughts on whether this might be the right cruise for us compared to the "style" I'm used to on the other ships. Really enjoyed the NCL Jewel last time. Seems like a different type of ship; show, style, freestyle, nightlife, pool time, etc, . Thanks for any comments if there are some things I should be aware of.
