Ahh, it's the Eclipse not the Escape.

Where did you book this?  I don't see it on Celebrity's website.

Check out Celebrity.  Their Edge class has solo cabins that have Infinite Balconies.  No being stuck in an inside cabin.  The Silhouette has solo inside cabins.

We used TJ Travel in St. Petersburg, Helsinki, Tallinn, Berlin, and Oslo. We used a credit card to pay for the tour and for all purchases. Our guide gave us rubles so we could ride the subway. Lunch was included one day and the next we stopped at a little local restaurant that took credit cards (our guide knew they would.) We tipped our guide and drivers in all of those places with either US dollars or Euros.

When we first cruised on The Summit in 2005 and 2007, we loved CC. Extremely attentive room stewards, great canapes, freshly squeezed OJ, great breakfast menu. We did CC on the Eclipse last March and was very disappointed. 6 out of 7 nights had the same canapes that were so-so. Had problems with room service breakfast. Gave and honest review about our experience and received a call from Celebrity. Celebrity did step up and gave us on board ship credit on our next cruise. Sailed on Constellation this December and did just regular veranda. Since we are Elite, didn't notice that much difference. You can order appetizers from room service to make up that part of CC. Sailing on Silhouette in May and doing just veranda.
