  1. I have been looking at day resorts for our November cruise on Eurodam. I found Marriott has several in Aruba and they include food, drinks, beach chairs, etc. as well as the pool area. We will probably do one of these. :D

  2. We just got off the Neiuw Amsterdam on the 20th and have stayed in Pinnacle Suite 7031 twice in as many years. The bed is not part of the couch but if you find the photos that others have mentioned on this post then you should look for the television in the living room. Under that is a large set of cabinet doors that open up and in there is a pull out double bed. What is nice is that you can close the doors to the bedroom and have privacy from the living and dining room areas. There is a powder room that the third person can use just off the entry area. In addition there are drawers in the dining room that can store folded clothes, otherwise all hanging clothes would be in the dressing area only accessible through the master bedroom and bath. Attached are pictures of the of the powder room and dining area with extra drawers. I only have a panorama of the living room with cabinet that I would be more than happy to share in an email.

Its a great room and we love the space and the large balcony.

Thanks so much. This is our first pinnicle suite....email is: szdiver47 at aol . com

  3. we usually book with RIL as soon as we know we will be in their area - which is all of Italy. LOL

RIL has always held high standards in the touring industry and we feel safe with them doing our tours....have fun

  4. I don't know if this will help, but we have never had any problems with leaving our belongings on chairs when we walk around or get into the ocean. Everyone seems to be involved in their own enjoyment. Hope this helps a bit.

  5. we will be in Italy on the Allure in October and RIL has set up 3 tours for us and other passengers in 8-passenger vans for LaSpiza, Naples and Rome ports. Can't wait to see all the sights. We have used RIL several times in the past and have always looked forward to seeing them each time. Very professional and friendly.

  6. Has anyone done the RIL tour of Pisa & San Gimignano from the port at Livorno? There will be 4 of us - my wife and 2 kids (14 & 11).

Also, is it best to go on our own or save a few dollars and find others to share a minibus? Will RIL find another party to group us up with or is it our own responsibility?

    Thanks in advance.

hello - another RIL fan here - we use them every time we go to Europe and Italy....none better in my opinion.

As for your question, we have indeed used RIL for Pisa and other places from the port and they are excellent. They pick you up on time and get you back and in between, we had a fun-filled and informative time with them. You pick where you want to go and for how long.

As for getting a group together, just mention the tour on your cruise critic posting and you will have people asking about it. Then all you have to do is figure out how many you want to go with you. Have a blast.

  7. I agree about Rome In Limo - we have used them exclusively for our 3 trips to Rome and have had a wonderful time.....Pompii, Florence & Pisa, Vatican with a guide, Colluseum, and a wonderful trip into the Tuscany Hills to a winery and an old Monestery that made their own licquor. We will use them again in October when we go to Europe and I know Jany will treat all the cruisers right.
