Thanks! I was waiting until we had a better handle on whether we could find someone else before I contacted the cruise line.

We just found out that the third person in our 2-bedroom suite can’t join us and we’re scrambling to find a replacement. One possibility is a couple and their 6-year old daughter. Does anyone know if such a change would be feasible and if the overall cost for 5 people versus three would differ from what we were quoted? We still have time before final payment is due, but it would be crazy to have all that room for only two of us! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

We just got the email — our oceanview on a16-night transatlantic was upgraded to a balcony! None were available when we booked in January 2018, so we settled for an oceanview. We got the Royal Up offer in mid-June and bid $300 for a balcony. We also bid on a two-bedroom oceanview suite and a spacious balcony, but those two bids were labeled “expired” for the past couple of weeks. Considering that the balcony price lately was $1500/pp more than we paid, I think we did well! So excited to move from deck 3 to deck 8!

Thanks so much! That makes more sense. We have our fingers crossed for a balcony, but we’re just happy to be going to Greenland!

You’re on the 8/25 TA and already heard about your bid? We bid from on Oceanview to a balcony, a spacious balcony and an oceanview suite, but we’ve heard nothing. We booked more than 1-1/2 years ago and oceanview was all that was available. And boy, have the prices gone up! When did you hear that your bid was accepted?

Anyone know if there’s a designated Diamond section for breakfast in the MDR on Serenade? We had this on Adventure and it was great!
