  1. Does anyone happen to know if you book a cruise while on board a RCCL ship and then transfer that booking to your own travel agent when you get home will that transferred booking be considered a New Booking?

The reason I ask is because there are may promotions out there that say New Bookings Only. I didn't know if this would qualify.

  2. So if the $44 Premium Beverage Package Special offer represents a 20% discount, it means that they are increasing the Premium Beverage Package price to $55. ($55 - 20% = $44)

Too bad they can't just come out and say that.

They are doing the similar thing with Voom in that they are offering it at a 30% discount.

If $22.99 represents a 30% discount for the VOOM SURF + STREAM Voyage Package - 2 Devices, it means that they plan on increasing that price to $32.75 per day.

  3. I didn't pay much attention to their signature:D that being said with the new points based on cabin it is theoretically possible if they sailed in high enough suites to get the 150 points after 2 cruises. Not impossible :D

By my calculations 14 nights in Celebrity Suite or higher is 168 points:)

We will be in a JS for our upcoming 7 night cruise.

  4. You book while on board you will get an OBC. Afterwards you can always move that booked cruise to a different sailing or get a price reduction if one comes along.

However - many deals that come up say New Bookings Only.

This leads to my question. Is it better to book while on board or wait for a good sale to take advantage of that new booking?????

    Your thoughts?

  5. many times the location is changed depending on the number signed up. We had a great location last Oct then moved us to the Theater so many didn't show up but we still had a good turnout, as mentioned earlier, when i see the invitations in our room then I know for sure where we will be. I was also working with the On Boards Event Coordinator so know right away of the change and let our Roll Call know.

How do you know who this On Board Event Coordinator is?

  6. Which would be cheaper for a group of 3.

A cab or hotel shuttle from Hyatt place Ft. Lauderdale to RCCL at Port Everglades??

The hotel shuttle would cost $7 per person. I don't know the cab fare.

  7. If you are asking about Oasis class, Coastal Kitchen is in the same area as the Suite Lounge, so if you will have a gold colored SeaPass card, then you can get free drinks. They may or may not serve them to you at your table. If not, it's a very short walk to the bar.

So this is where it gets confusing. Yes, we are talking about the Oasis class.

However, we have a Jr. Suite booked. We will be able to take advantage of the Coastal Kitchen for dinner but we cannot take advantage of the Suite Lounge.

I am not sure how that logistically works out - being that the two are in the same area.
