We are watching High Seas on Netflix and we are loving it. So is everyone to whom we have recommended it. My DH keeps saying, this doesn't happen on Celelbrity! It takes place on a gorgeous 1940's art deco style

So go to the roulette table and bet half on red and half on black then before cashing out? 😁
Just hope zero doesn't show up.

Thankyou all for the advice.
I did also call the Captains Club, who advised me that if we go to guest relations on board they could issue us early tender tickets. I was also told elsewhere that at Villefranche they use local commercial tenders that have much larger capacity than the ships own tenders.
We will find out soon!

I am looking for information on how quickly one can get onshore from a Celebrity ship tendering at Villefranche.
We have a private tour that I would like to get underway as soon as we can get ashore.
We arrive at 7am.
Our experience at other ports is that it can take quite a while, especially if one is not on a ship tour.

If you enjoy High Seas, then you will enjoy Grand Hotel ( the original Spanish series set in San Sebastián, not the American version). It predates High Seas with even more nefarious goings on and Dr. Ayala’s father is a delicious central role, to which Dr Ayala makes an oblique reference to the ship’s detective.
