Just realized I'll have time in Skagway too, if anyone has suggestions there.

Going to Alaska for the first time in a week. I'm in the middle of a 5k training program and want to keep my mileage up while I'm on the cruise, I know there's a gym and a walking track on the ship, but when I have time in port, I'd love to be able to do my runs there. Does anyone have recommendations for routes in Juneau and Victoria? These are the only ports where I'll have time. Looking for pretty short routes (my longest is 2.25 miles), that are relatively flat if possible (not sure it is :)), and close to the port.
Anyone have suggestions? Is this doable?

Could someone explain the coffee cards to me? I'm going on my first Princess Cruise to Alaska in a couple weeks and keep reading about them here. I'm not a huge fan of coffee drinks, but I do need a good cup of coffee in the morning. Is this not available in the buffet or MDR?

This is probably a bit of a silly question. It's my first Alaskan cruise. I don't own a rain jacket and have read in several places that they cheap and readily available to buy in port, so I was just planning on buying one there. Our first stop is Juneau, we are getting in at 11 and are booked through Princess for the whale watching excursion at 11:30. Am I cutting it to close to track down a rain jacket when I get in during the half hour before the excursion, or should I just go ahead and buy one before I leave?

Deck plans say it's a 4 person cabin.
I would say your 3rd berth will drop down from the ceiling.
They are flush when not in use.
Thank you!

Sailing in September on the Ruby, we've got a balcony state room on Deck 11 (Baja), with three people in the room. Does anyone know if the third bed is likely to be a pullout or an upper?

Anyone know if you can order a grilled cheese through room service? Its not listed, but curious if they'll do it on request.

Does anyone have the Funtimes for the Carnival Freedom Western Itinerary. I know there was a dropbox link recently but the link doesn't seem to work anymore. Heading out in November for our first cruise with Carnival.

Use Travisa.com it costs more but guarantees that you'll get your passport in time. Maximum time to get it is 3-10 business days.
