Thought food on the Divina was good. Beef was tough, even prime rib. Is that possible?

TNGALOHA,
Thank you so much. Your story is wonderful. Everything sounds so beautiful. Your pictures are great. This is sounding better all the time. I'm really getting excited. So far two of my children are coming . So happy that you posted

Baby, The sites you posted were very helpful. Thank you.
Mikesea, We are going to have the ceremony on the ship. They say it will be a sea day. Will need to talk to wedding planner before hand , but find out the particulars onboard. We don't need a big fuss. We've both been widowed twice, so we have had weddings in the past. Besides that, we are pretty old. But never to old for a little romance.

Wow. This sounds pretty amazing. They don't tell you the plan until you are on board. We will have 2 friends with us. We are planning on our children, if they can.

Aren't you sweet. We hope to have a ball.

Thanks Baby. It sounds good to me. We are in our 70's and the simpler the better. I can see how young people would like more,

Has anyone had the wedding ceremony on the Divina? We are considering this in Dec. Curious as to how you liked it. Thank you for any input.

I'm feeling so much better about my age now. After reading your posts and hearing about these older people, I'm sure I'll have a blast. I am 77 yrs old and will be on my first solo cruise.

I'm so thrilled. The promenade photos are great. Thank you for posting them Carol:)

I think you are right. I love a Balcony but thought it was pricey. Wound up with a Promenade cabin. Really good price. It sounds nice. Anyone every been in one?

Hi, My name is Carol. I'm in my 70's. I'm taking my first solo cruise Dec 1st on the Independence of the Seas. Been on many cruises with my late husband, but now I'm trying it on my own. Nervous but looking forward to it.

Many thanks for the encouragement. By the way, Hubby chose our name. He loved it more than anything. I do to. You are so right. It will be great no matter what. It's always entertaining, even just people watching. I am feeling much braver. Thank you. Carol

I so want to do this. Widowed last year, am 76, though by no means old. I am just nervous about it. Been married for so many years, haven't had the chance to do anything on my own. I thought I was always an independent woman, maybe I'm not. I guess I have to start by booking something. Any encouragement will be much appreciated. Thanks.

No comparison. Celebrity all the way. NCL is less expensive. They are the generic cruise line as far as I am concerned.
Stick with Celebrity, you will be happier.
