I think it is Da Vinci from noon-1:30pm.

are you cruising soon? Or next year? You could always check to see if there is a Live from the Ruby princess

The dining room may change ? with the new dining plan starting September 14, 2024. Time will tell.

Reservation for diner no problem. How do you reserve lunch at embarkation?

Which one do you have, Preferred or Reserve?  There are some differences in coverage (for example, Preferred doesn't cover Medical Evacuation while Reserve covers it up to $100,000).  We have Reserve.  We used it once for the trip (cruise) cancelation and we paid in full for the cruise total (the cruise line paid tax portion).

We have Preferred card. Thanks for the reply

  3. We are scheduled to take a cruise from our hometown SF to Hawaii. We have Chase Sapphire credit card which provides cancellation/interruption travel insurance.
looking for advice if this is good enough coverage.
    Thanks in advance

  4. We just received an email with the schedule correction for Dec. 18 cruise.

“Please be advised that due to operational considerations, Ruby Princess will no longer call to Lahaina, Hawaii on Tuesday, December 24. Instead, we will now call to Kona, Hawaii arriving from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM on that day.”

I don't do live from posts but usually do a review when I get home.  That being said,  I am currently on the Ruby and having a wonderful time.  We got the invite to the Chef's Table,  signed up for the Super Tuscan lunch and my husband won $25 in Princess prizes. If you have any questions about the ship,  I'm happy to answer.

I am in a process to book dinning time for upcoming cruise on Ruby. By any chance do you know which MDR to consider? Our cabin is on deck 11. I try to figure out which one of the three of them to choose. Thanks and enjoy your trip

  6. Best just to buy at the newsstand inside the station. You want to ask for a BIRG ticket. Hand over your 12E and they'll hand you the ticket. Just remember to validate in the box on the platform. (This is assuming it's a port stop and you are not disembarking, in which case you only need a one way ticket)

Can I use a credit card?
