I had my backpack on the ground loading a box truck with stuff. I shut the back of the box truck and my buddy hopped in to move it after I walked away. My backpack basically told him when to stop backing up;)

I use my GoPro. Don't want to buy a case for my DSLR Canon and my waterproof point and shoot canon was ran over by a truck so it's no longer waterproof

This makes me miss Europe. I lived in Sicily for three years and bounced all around Europe. I have always wanted to take my wife on a trip over there, just don't have the money quite yet:(

We will see if we end up enjoying it or not but the wife and I are doing the Cheers package for our NYE Mexico cruise. If I stick to just 12oz beer I get it at 0.319/oz, 20oz drafts come to $0.191/oz, or an average of $3.83/drink.

I believe you still pay tax...but not gratuity.
PS - They limit you to two 4 packs, at least they did for ours. Not sure if that is a Carnival thing or a Texas liquor law thing. Weird laws here with the liquor. Can't deliver our liquor until day two, but we can give our children liquor in our presence in public. Go figure. lol
I'm fairly certain the Bon Voyage program is self limited to two orders of whatever alcoholic beverage you chose.

So, is there a menu of drinks that we can see online?
Showing prices?
I'd like to know what all is offered.
For specialty kind of drinks, beers, and cocktails, and anything they make.
There sure are. The information about the bucket o' beer I got from reading the boards. It's almost depressing how much research and importance I'm putting on the alcohol aspect of this trip. These are the first few I found on a quick google, I can't find the one I used the other day that had been updated mid 2013.

For some reason this forum has an auto-filter for this particular website and won't let me post the entire URL. Just copy/paste and get rid of the spaces.

Any personal experiences? Like mentioned earlier, I've been in SoCal for years and know what to expect there, wondering if anyone else has experienced the same. Numbers and websites only provide so much vs. real experience.

Is there a menu somewhere of what drinks ARE included in the program?
And, likewise, a list of what drinks ARE NOT included?
Thanks.
From my research I'm fairly certain any singular alcoholic beverage that has a menu listed price of less than $10 qualifies, minus certain "specialty coffees". Groups of beverages, such as a bucket of beer, are not available on this program.

Ohhhh what to do, what to do. The cheap ass in me is deathly afraid of spending entirely too much on alcohol and is contemplating the Cheers program, but the part of me that wants to have a hassle-free honeymoon fancies just winging it and paying as I go or ordering bottles. I reach 15 and get cut off and I'll be livid, but if I calculate my costs at the end and would have saved with Cheers, I'll be poopy pants because that probably means I broke the budget.

My wife and I are doing a NYE cruise down to Cabo and PV with Carnival. We've both spent several years in the SoCal area so we're used to the possibility of walking around in shorts on Christmas day and then a full puff jacket Christmas night. Neither of us however have any experience with this region of the world. I've done some research and seen the numbers, but what are the personal experiences? The water should be warmer down there leading me to consider a snorkeling trip for the wife and I in Cabo.
Thoughts, considerations, experiences?
Thanks!
Randy

Seems a lot of the suggestions cost money, which in turn would increase fares, which in turn would start another thread outraged about the fare increases. Same with chairs on the decks, the one time your partner forgets something in the room or has to go to the bathroom and someone snags the seat right next to you claiming there is no "seat saving", most will flip their lid and write a letter to the CEO. The grass is ALWAYS greener on the other side.;)
