Carnival should just offer any time dining in all their restaurants.
We are waitlisted for YTD, on the Vista, in two weeks. We don't mind the late dining time, however, we do not want to be assigned to a large table with lots of other people. We want a table for two, every night.

Thanks for your reply.

Do all of the spa balcony rooms on the 12th floor have uncovered balconies? If yes, do people hang out on the floor above 12, and look over, into the balcony? Also, does it get hot?
Thanks.

If you plan to use your phone in port or inland, you may want to check with your carrier if your plan covers free text messaging. Ours include that.
I did find out that calls, and texts, are covered under our plan just as if we were home. I just wish I could use my cell phone 4g internet, and not the ship's internet.

Thanks for the information.

Can there be upsell opportunities a day before the cruise, and on the day of the cruise?
-
I really enjoyed your review.

When in port, as soon as you are off the ship, will your phone work on its own carrier network and not use the ship wifi? Or, do you need to be a distance away from the ship?

Is the balcony totally covered for cabin 522? I wonder if we will hear chairs being draggled across the floor, above us.

The internet worked fairly well, and the price was good.

i am using Carnival's $99 Internet. It has been slow at times but overall very much worth having.
-
Just got off the Conquest on Monday. Got the all you can use internet package for the 8 days for $99. Worked faster than any internet we have used on any other ship.
Thanks for that information. That is a lot less expensive that I have paid before.
-
I hope the Conquest now has the new internet package options.

just found out the our ship will be docking in Puerto Rico this evening at 7pm and will be here until tomorrow at 3pm - then we will be going to grand turks on Thursday and after that we will either go to Nassau or their island. So we will not be going to st marten or st kitt. See what happens with Erika after tomorrow - still have fun and this will be good
Thanks for the information.

What side of the ship are you booked? Deck 3 starboard allows for smoking while port does not.
We are on the starboard side. When I booked the cruise with Carnival, the agent did not inform me that smoking was allowed on deck 10. I am afraid the smoke might blow forward, into my open room. This happened to us, before....and it was not comfortable. Carnival doesn't always inform cruisers about smoking decks.
-
We are in a cabin on deck 10. I am wondering if the smoke from the smoking area, floats into deck 10 cabins, when balcony doors
are open.
Also, wondering if the theater is smokey being that it is in the smoking area.
Thank you.

No, you no longer have to leave security to get from T4 to T5 or T6. The underground tunnel between the terminals was reopened for public use earlier this year, in addition there is an airside shuttle that runs between T4 and T6 for ticket holders. The tunnel is about a 10 minute walk. I used it myself in March to connect from American to Alaska.
Please tell me where to find the tunnel between the terminals. Is it on the way and in the direction of baggage claim?
And, where can passengers find the airside shuttle?
I don't recall ever seeing the tunnel or the shuttle.
Thank you.

Thanks for the replies and information.

At SFO: When changing terminals... From terminal 2, American Airlines, to terminal 1-A, Alaska Airlines, must passengers leave the secured area to ride the train? Walking to another terminal is done inside security....right? However riding the train, you must leave the secured area...right?
At LAX: What is the best way to change terminals, from American Airlines, in terminal 4, to Alaska Airlines in terminal 6? Do passengers have to leave the secure area and go out side to walk, or ride the shuttle bus?
Thank you.

Thanks for that information. I will ask, either before dinner, or during dinner.

We are on the waitlist for any time dining. Do wait listed people ever get their dining choice? Currently, we have the late dining. Can two people sit at a table for two, at the late dining?
We are on the Conquest, September 5.
Thanks.

Where is brunch served, on sea days? What other options are there for breakfast and lunch those days?
Thanks for your replies.:)
