  1. My purpose of my post was to make things better! and not to trash people (troll)

And yes the server did tell us what the drink was himself. He did this in front of everyone.

I am not 100 percent perfect in my research but I do know what I have had in the past and yes I did expect a better service from royal caribbean.

I still think that royal caribbean does need to have better service. To improve oneself is to move forward and not to go backward

Ps my daughter does not understand how some adults in this forum are rude. Not to good of an example

    Thank you

Yes we will go back to the other ships that we have sailed on

  2. We did not have the pool towels in our room and there were non at the pool. They told us to come back in about 20 min and when we did (there our 3 in our cabin ). We were told we were only allowed 2 towels. Why would you put the ice cream stand were kids go on the same side of the smoking. That does not make sense? We had a grand suite. It was not towels for 3 people. It did not have robes and slippers I was disappointed for our daughter. On all the other ships every night a towel animal was left for her at night. This cruise they did 2 towel animals. And at night for the bed turn down she was looking forward for a chocolate on her pillow. The pool server gave my 11 year old a alcoholic drink. We did not order a drink for her They actually said that the drink was for her.

If I booked a regular state room and if it was just my husband and I I would not care as much about the chocolate ,towel animals, or smoking at the ice cream stand (I don't care for ice cream but my daughter does) but for the amount of money spent for a grand suite I do expect more from a ship. I would like to know who was the geniuses to put the smoking side withe the ice cream?

  3. No pool towels, half of the ship still has a smoking side right beside the ice cream pool area stand ( this was after we got the letter saying that royal Caribbean was going to be non smoking. That was a JOKE)and our room was not stock correctly. On every other cruise line that I have been on this never happened. On every other ship we have always been taken personally to our room no matter what category we booked. We booked a grand suite and was not worth the service

  4. We most of the time do our own land excursions. It is funny because were ever we go there is always a cruise bus right behind us. In Barbados we took the city bus to the caves. Save around 200 dollars for the two if us. Then went to a cigar rolling plant tour that was free

In curraco we took the city bus to the liquer factory /store and next to that was a coffee factory. The tour buses were again right behind us and the tours were free. All we paid for was the bus ride. We walked to the sea aquarium that took around 20 min which was a nice early morning walk and did the sea aquarium and the ships tour bus was rifts behind us again. We almost always do our own thing. Taking city buses are safe. You are on them in the day time. And everyone is there to help

  5. Hi, we are on a cruise stopping at San Juan on my 50th birthday and would like to do something special. We decided not to book a ship excursion as we didn't want to be stuck on a bus! We understand that it is easy to tour San Juan on foot but would love some ideas on where to go and where to eat.many thanks

I am going for my 50th too. We will be there jan 29. I have been to San Juan 2 times this is my third. I am going back to the rain forest this time take our daughter with us. There is also a little boat (it is like a water taxi) that will take you to the other side of were the ships docks and you can go over to the Bacardi rum factory. We did that too. Not far from there is the FBI training Center. We found out they do not give tours

  6. You get what you pay for. I think that answers it. If all that you want is cheep then that is what you will get

It is like buying a t shirt. All depends on the quality of cotton You get a chap thin shirt it does not last long but when

You pay for good quality it will last for years You get what you pay for

  7. This ship is the only one that in every cabin there are 2 bathrooms. Which makes the regular cabin size larger than other ships. Also yet service is VERY good. We have been on Holland America And Princes and service so far on Disney has been the best hands down. They don't just cater to kids. They cater to everyone (grand parents ,single parents, adoptive parents ,). Everything. They even have people that at dinner time cut the food up for our kids while you eat dinner

  8. I take everything but the kitchen sink, just in case. It's how I roll.

Our everyday rx's. Double the amount of days of the cruise.

    Immodium

    GasEx

    Zantac

    Bonine

    Tylenol

    Advil (dh can't do Advil)

    Throat lozengers (Halls)

    Neosporin

    Alcohol wipes

    Bandaids

    Some sort of laxative/stool softener

    Benadryl or equiv

I've rarely needed any of it (except the Bonine is a life saver) but I have it just in case. I believe in Murphy's Law. If I didn't have it, I'd need it. So me being me, I play proactive. I also pay attention to expiration dates. Once it expires, it gets replaced.

This all reminds me. I need to go check my supplies!

    Cathy

We also take polysporine drops for eyes because of the antibiotic in it (we are from canada it is a over the counter drop)

We had problems in the past and if we only brought the drops with us our trip would have been better

  9. How ironic. You're basically trying to get involved in the OP's business and tell them what they should or should not do. Either answer the OP's question or don't! But don't post your unsolicited opinion where it does not belong. It's not your issue to get involved in either.

I think they did answer the question. Just not every likes everyone's answeres. That I why this is an opinion board

  10. Ck all insurance companies. Blue cross is not always the best. They will say that they will cover the cost. But at what they think it is worth. If you get a bill for 10,000. They may only cover 1,000. Because that is what they think it is worth the treatment

I have seen this People get very upset when they find this out and don't have the extra cash This does happen. Ask them before you purchase anything and get it in writing. Not what they think it is worth or should cost by if they will cover The Cost of the bill

  11. I traveled on a cruise while I was 5months pregnant and I have chrones disease

I always get cruise insurance and also private insurance. I also make sure I have everything on a credit card that has good insurance too . When I was pregnant my gastroenterologist told me if I was having an upset stomach while away to drink.

DIET COKE. IN A CAN. ONLY. Not diet Pepsi or sprite Only diet coke Even though I was pregnant and we all know diet coke is NOT good he said for the seven days it would be better than having a problem. If I went to the in lands I could not have anything in a glass. You don't know what they washed the glass in. I only would take food from the cruise ship when I was off and they do understand. I would only have fried food (chips). No fruit or vegetables unless it was on the ship. I only took water from the ship

Long story short. I have a healthy girl. Who was tested with a high IQ . (Do you think it could have been the diet coke LOL)
