Holyhead has a jetty that was a loading dock for ore. Some ships use it and some don't. We have seen photos of Princess ships docked, but for our cruise in May it was a tender port. Either way there is a very good chance you will miss it due to weather despite what Busybus claims. Just look at the threads and you will see many ships miss the port. Knowing this is likely Busybus refunds only 50% of you payment (around $75) if the ship does not dock and you cannot take the tour. They require payment in full when booking. This term is buried in their terms and conditions link.

They charged the customers 50% of the tour price even though no services were provided. They require payment at the time of booking so you are stuck. It is apparently not uncommon to miss this port due to weather and inadequate port facilities. We will never use them again or book any tour that requires advance payment. BEWARE. BEWARE BEWARE

May 2016. We booked a tour of Wales from Holyhood paying in advance BIG MISTAKE. Holyhead is a tender port for most ships. Could not tender due to rough seas and wind. Company charges you 50% cancellation fee when ship does not arrive. We are out 49£

We have used British Airport Transfers on many occasions and they are prompt, competitive, nice drivers and cars and will accommodate most any request.

They require payment in full upon booking but only refund 50% if tour is missed for any reason including if your ship does not dock. See other threads about Holyhead and Liverpool.
