Aft cabins are my favorite. One advantage is you can watch the scenery on both sides of the ship. It is also out of the wind when sailing, an excellent place to relax.
We did a transatlantic Barcelona to Ft Lauderdale in November, loved it. Favorite port was Madeira, beautiful island.

Hi,
Never had an aft cabin before, always regular verandas, is it a good idea for a TA?
Planning the Barcelona - FLL cruise , October 2024
Sorry for my english, I’m french speaking 😉
Thank you

Hi,
Would it be a good option for you to book a sunset veranda for a TA from Barcelona to Fort Lauderdale
Will the weather be warm enough to enjoy our veranda knowing that it’s facing east?
Thanks

Did B2B from the Pan American Pier.
Used Uber from the Pan American Pier to Old San Juan and back.
Cost: $5 each way.

That’s what we’re going to do, get a taxi to go in OSJ and one to go back to the ship
Now I have a better idea of the time we’ll have to visit SJ
thank you

we are with my sister and brother in law for the day, they are just doing the first part of our b2b so we want to spend as much time as possible with them before going back to the ship
thank you for your input, I appreciate

Hello,
We would like to spend some time visiting San Juan between our two cruises, the sail away is late but we’ll need (I think so) to be there for the muster drill
For those who did that before, at what time to we need to get back on the ship
I just want to plan some activities in advance
Thank you for your comments,

Thanks for your review.
We are cruising from B A to San Antonio, Chili March of next year.
Hopefully we'll see as many penguins as you did.

You never really know. They tend to cancel them more than a year in advance, so you might have to make a change at that point. I would book a refundable fare in case you don't like the options they provide if it happens.
I agree that it is the thing to do.
Royal has also itinararies that are similar but we prefer Celebrity.
Thank you again bEwAbG

Hello,
We are two couples planning a b2b in February 2020.
Have read here that this ship has been chartered in 2017 and 2018. Would you take a chance booking it for 2020?
Thanks for your input.

Hello
I know this is not something anyone including me likes to think about or even discuss but I really would appreciate your thoughts on this & help with the second question.
I really do not like ships tours but going to be taking some when in the Middle East. Mainly the one that goes into Palestine-Jerusalem etc. The reason is although I am not really scared heck I have been to Africa twice. I just think with this whole conflict in the Middle East it might be better to take ships tours on a few occasions. Unless some of you that have been there could recommend a good tour company?? I travel alone.
Here are my questionS.
1. I have been thinking about buying a small can of pepper spray to take with me. What are your thoughts? I know it would have to be packed not carried on or is it not even permitted period to have for getting back on board after a tour?
2. Also any tour recommendations for private tours to any of the following would be greatly appreciated Oman, Safaga (would like to go to a hotel/beach been to Egypt for several weeks already) Petra/Aqaba, Jerusalem/Bethlehem, Nazareth/Galilee, Cyprus
Thank you in advance for your help and thoughts
Kathy
We have lived in Oman for two years and I have never covered my hair. I was always wearing a short sleeves shirt or a shawl over a no sleeve shirt or dress, as long as your skirt covers your knees you'll be fine.
People from Oman are very nice and many of them can speak a very good english, mostly around the port in Muscat.
Beautiful sceneries!

Thank you satxdiver,
Have read some comments about the "post dry dock" of the C B.
Between the two, it is still our first choice.
PS Beautiful dog!

We already have a cabin booked on the CP for the 2017 TA but we're also considering one in Australia.
We still have one more month to make a decision.
We know that these two ships are not new and it makes me worry a little bit. We have only cruised on the Equinox and on the Allure so far.
Thank you everyone for all your comments.
