  1. Does anyone know if the highest internet plan will allow you to play short videos from youtube? I see it does Skye calling, is this an option like for those with small kids who like to watch the little cartoon kids vids? If the ship matters we will be on the Sunshine....Thanks in advance for any info! :D:D:D

  2. Headed out on February 1st on the Fantasy out of Charleston!!!Curious about what other folks would suggest packing for this trip?? This is the first time hubby and I will be sailing this early in the year. We usually prefer the months of August thru December and we always leave out of Florida....so pretty warm throughout. I am pretty sure it will be a bit chilly heading out of Charleston on Saturday, they even have a chance of snow I believe Wednesday or Thursay?? I have seen crazier things when we lived there so its possible! So just wondered if anyone has taken this trip this time of year? I'm sure it will at least be 70's in the bahamas....but what kind of clothing would you guys suggest for the rest of the trip? How far down the coast will we be before the temp starts to improve I guess?? I know Florida is having some chilly weather as well?? I am almost afraid to go with our typical cruise wear, and stay cold! ANy tips appreciated!!

  3. If you choose to not purchase FTTF, I'd definitely see if you can't get priority boarding anyone because of his disability. I've seen passengers using canes and walkers told that they would board right after the VIPs. I'm guessing that with FTTF, these folks would board right after them (you could probably contact the special needs people at Carnival directly and get an answer).

I did ask at the special needs department. I was told there was no way to get priority except F2F, book a suite, or platinum members. He is in a wheelchair so at least he won't be standing. He just has some brain damage from strokes and gets very impatient. It sounds like this could go either way for us though?? Hard to decide if I should get it or not?

  4. Curious if anyone has experienced Faster to the FUn with the Fantasy? I know this is a smaller ship and all reviews I have rea seem to be fairly quick embarkation process.....Is it necessary ...or worth the money? Or I guess is it needed? Will it really get us onboard any quicker? My husband is handicapped and getting on the Breeze this was a lifesaver whhen we did not book a suite to be VIP....but we were to compete with over 4000 other passengers. Next trip we booked a suite.... If it will be quicker I will gladly pay the money for his comfort, but if its not alot of difference I won't bother....any thoughts out there. Maybe the question should be time frames, if you have used F@F on Fantasy what was your time frame like boarding and disembarking? Thanks abunch!!

  5. Is there anyone out there whom is handicapped that has sailed on the Fantasy out of Charleston?? I would love to get info on the cabins or even pictures if possible??? We have been offered either Cabin M298 or U243??? Any experience with either of these, which one is better? Hubby is a stroke patient with moderate disability and uses a scooter??? We will be on the Valentines weekend sailing??

Thanks so much for any help as we are pretty new to your boards. We have sailed Carnival many times but this is our first since his stroke?:confused::confused::o
