You may find this really hard to believe but I actually went to look for that - but only, I hasten to add, in pursuit of my interest in maritime history. ;)
Jimmy
Yes, I can understand that. Did you enjoy it?
I'm surprised it does not feature on Thomas' Tour.

I suggest that the technical term should be "Intra-thread topic regression"
That would be ITTR, however apparently ITTR means Inflatable Tubular Torso Restraint, manufactured by Simula inc., so it looks like another term will need to be invented.
Anyway does anyone know what exactly is an Inflatable Tubular Torso Restraint?
Sounds like a rubber ring for swimming, which brings us back to thread convergence!
Alternatively I really don't want to think of the pictures it conjures up. Given Malcolom's insistance that there is a sex club down C stairway on Seven Deck, it could be something that he has used there (that's more thread convergence).

Wow, Karen! It sounds as if you could use a frosty, cold, refreshing bottle of Pol Acker.
Hey, there must be some mistake. We're back on topic.

Perthshire Happyscot-Lackers
Ooooooooooooooooooohhh!!!!!
We're hypenated now are we?
Normal surnames not good enough for you now?
Next you'll be accompanying Mrs Parker-Bowles-Windsor-Battenburg-Saxe-Coburg to launch our new ship.
David
p.s. Another bit of thread convergence there.

Thank you for the clarification. I am sure even now, you are working on the drama serial for the BBC.

Jimmy's work of non-fiction is wonderful.

Who would have guessed that Paul Lacker was one of our colonial cousins. Was he deported from Europe for his crime?

As we know, a gentleman wears his bow-tie on the front of his shirt.
If a lady has a similar adornment on the back of her dress, would this be known as a stern-tie when at sea?

To call it a drink would be misrepresentation.

Are we back on topic?

No. It's not Cava. It's not Champagne. It is swill, pure and simple.
Matthew
Now, now, Matthew. Come off the fence. Say what you mean. :)

Sorry but they do,
If you are a Gold on P&O you go to the equivalent on Princess but only after your 2nd cruise with princess.
Just about right Dai. Princess and OV count towards P&O Portunus at 50% nightly rate. P&O cruises fully count towards Captain's Circle There is no cross benefit to the Cunard WorldClub.
Makes my membership P&O Sapphire; Princess Platinum; Cunard Gold

What exactly is Pol Acker?
