Thanks for posting updates. We go in August and are looking forward to hearing about the trip.

We have done Tahiti twice with Windstar. Both times in December, which is the rainy season. We lucked out both times and didn't have any rain to speak of. Just a little at night or first thing in the morning. Nothing that affected any of our plans.
We enjoyed the food as the menu varies each night, and I don't think I ate the same thing twice. The service and crew were outstanding and we love the smaller ship.

I think it was about $110.00 per person.

Hi
We have done this cruise twice. The first time we were in the AX category (I think cabin 220).
The second trip we did the 1st Deck, but kept the BX Category. No difference for us between Deck 1 and Deck 2. I do prefer being mid-ship.
You will have a great experience.

You'll have a great time. We have done this cruise twice.
We did two terrific excursions not through WindStar.
On Bora Bora - we used PureSnorkeling by Reef Discovery. This was a 4-hour snorkel trip that included a coral garden, the lagoon and swimming with eagle rays and some manta rays.
On Raiatea - we used L'Excursion Bleue Day Tours. This was our second time with this tour. It was an all day excursion that includes a Pearl Farm, Vanilla Plantation, Snorkeling with Sharks, Two Coral Gardens and lunch.
Can highly recommend both companies.

Best excursion on Raiatea: https://www.tahaa.net/index.php/en/
I've been to Raiatea over a half dozen times and have done many things ....... this is the #1 must do excursion.
Agree about this being the best excursion. We did Bruno's trip two years ago when we were there and enjoyed it so much that we are doing it again in December

I was on the Wind Surf in December and when we were in port, the Legend was also in port. We asked if we could get a tour of it as we are thinking about trying the motor yachts. We were told that we couldn't due to security reasons.

We sailed in December last year and had terrific weather. We were told by the crew that the sailing a couple of weeks earlier had a lot of rain, but we lucked out.

We did the 10 day cruise on the Spirit last year and loved it. I can't say enough about the staff and crew on the Spirit. It was on our bucket list as well and didn't disappoint.
wolverineOH is correct on what he answered for you.
As for the additional stay - Bora Bora has more options, but I found Moorea to be absolutely beautiful and that is where I want to go back and spend more time.
Enjoy your trip.

We did the 10-day cruise in December and it was terrific. We are looking forward to doing it again. We liked the 10-day as we enjoyed the sea days and found that we were able to relax more. Going up to the Tuamotos is not to be missed. However, being Tahiti, you'll enjoy either one.

Sailing on the Wind Spirit in Tahiti is like a dream. A marvelous, beautiful, romantic, exciting dream.
I literally almost cried when I had to come home...
I never like to cruise to the same place twice. There's so much world out there to explore. So much to see in so little time.
This, I would repeat. I'm dreaming of the day I'll be back on board Wind Spirit... perfect service, perfect atmosphere, perfect cabin... There's nothing better. Truly.
We did the 10-day Tahiti cruise in December and fell in love with Windstar and Tahiti. It was our first time for both and we can't wait to go back. The Wind Spirit and the staff were truly incredible, and we had so much fun with the other passengers on the voyage.

Thank you for all of the updates and info. We have signed up for both Kayaks and Zodiacs on the same itinerary in August. Sounds like it will be amazing.
