Went to mr sanchos in January 2014 and going back in September 2017. We loved it! Great service and plentiful drinks. Also had a shopping area. 20 dollar taxi ride there and 20 back. About 10-15 min taxi ride. We did the al and it was well worth it.

I'm Staying at Hampton Inn-convention center. They have a cruise special that includes parking. 142 for room and 14 a day for parking (booked for September) within walking distance to the port, and trolley for sight seeing.

I noticed many comments about sailing out of Galveston. Does that apply for NOLA as well? I will be on a 5 day cruise. I noticed when I went online to pay it charged for all 5 days (574) so it cost for the last day as well?

Thanks! It's about 55 in New Orleans and about the same where I live. We rarely see snow but I just didn't know how to pack.

We leave from New Orleans the end of this month to the Caribbean. How many days can I expect cold weather before it becomes warm?

Someone had posted previously about Ponte pants. I happen to run across some and bought them. Absolute best purchase of the season. They are thicker than leggings and very durable. Love them!

"Faster to the fun" I think it's 49.99 per cabin and it's under your excursions on carnivals website. It gives you priority boarding and your room is ready sooner. It also allows you to get off the ship priority at ports.

I was thinking of bringing black Ponte Pants for comfort and dress up ability. They look great with classic pointy toe heels and a loose sequin tank or flowy shirt.

I am 5'10 so that's never a problem. They don't have a hem so you can always cut them and hem. Mine are navy,lime green and orange so I will just wear a solid print

For dry skin I've started using coconut oil. It seems extremely oily so I put t on at night. In the morning my face has absorbed the oil an feels so soft.
