Received an email today that our embarkation tomorrow will be delayed due to "operational needs." Can anyone currently onboard give us any more details? What kind of meds should we bring along in case it's still lingering?

Has anyone rented electric bicycles in Oslo within walking distance of the cruise port? If you had a good experience, can you please share the name of the rental company? Thanks!

This is a bit off-topic, but we are interested in doing the Fjord Foray by RIB in Stavanger, too. The description mentions donning a "thermal suit." Can anyone tell me about this garment? Are very large sizes available? Thank you!

We were very concerned about this, too, when friends invited us to cruise with them. We were delighted that there was no drunken booze cruise behavior like you hear about on some other lines.

On cruises that spend their first night in the town of embarkation, is the muster drill that first day or just prior to sailing the second day?

We are booked on the NCL Sky Jan. 2-6. Ever since booking this trip in September (well before Hurricane Matthew), the only shore excursion listed on myncl for Freeport/Grand Bahama Island was a scuba trip. I called NCL last month to ask about this and was assured that more options would be published in a week or two, but it's still just that scuba trip.

Is this normal for this port?

If not, has anyone else heard what's going on? I was just on hold with NCL for 47 minutes before they closed at 8pm, so I still don't have an answer from the cruise line.

We're just 34 days from sailaway now.

We rented a car to drive to the Miami airport, then take a free rental car company shuttle to the cruise port. All went well until we had to fill the gas tank before returning the car.

There are gas stations near the airport. However, on December 21, 2015, the gas stations near the airport were charging about $2 per gallon MORE than the gas stations in the surrounding city. They know they have a captive audience of travelers and take maximum advantage of them.

Make sure you fill up your gas tank at least 5 - 10 miles before you get to the airport to avoid getting ripped off.
