*GASP* You were allowed to bring in a Kinder Egg!!!???!!! [emoji1]
I had no idea that Kinder Eggs were not allowed to be brought back. My daughter has asked for us to bring two things back from Vancouver, Ketchup Potato Chips and Kinder Eggs. Looks like she'll be getting two bags of chips. Thanks for the heads up.

We've only been on a few cruises, but I do remember what a hassle those tip envelopes were on that first cruise. Also, waking up for the midnight buffet and taking pictures of all the beautiful food the staff had prepared. 😋
-
Very happy for you that this all turned out well! :)
-
No thank you, I have already paid for my meal.

Lou,
I have been pasting bits and pieces of info on ports and putting it together. The info you posted makes it SO much easier. Thanks! :)

Welcome back. Your reviews are so much fun. Can't wait for the next one.

What is the purpose of reposting all the pictures when you quote?

Worth the wait! Thank you for this entertaining chapter, I look forward to the next installment. :D

Packaged foods only.
Some ports will, some won't let you take a cup of coffee or an open bottle of water.
Items must be PREpackaged foods and still factory sealed.

Two tequila

I believe it has to do with the current exchange rate from US to Alaska dollar. :D
Some days I just really enjoy being a smart ...

I believe shorts are only allowed in the MDR on Formal Nights for those passengers sharing the AIBP, and going to the Anytime Dining instead of their
assigned Traditional Dining time. :p

I wonder if this topic should be a sticky thread since the question is asked just about twice a week (before the thread devolves into a food fight.) There has been a sticky for smoking, another controversial topic. (This post will doubtless be deleted since it is, strictly speaking, not on topic, which was the narrow question asked by OP.)
Good point.

Thanks to the information on this thread, we have decided to use our free specialty dinner on the final night of the cruise. It will also allow us to eat earlier and have more time to relax on the final night. Thanks to all.

Thank you for your review and insight to the Grand. We are now more anxious than ever for our upcoming bucket list cruise on her. :D

Please, if you are going to quote a post with pictures in it be kind enough to remove the pictures. They take up a lot of space for such little commenting. Common courtesy, please.
Thank you

On RCCL ships you are issued one beach towel and if it is not turned in at the end of the cruise, $25 will be added to your folio. It makes the towels much more valuable and cuts down on chair hogs.
Sounds like a great idea to me. I wouldn't want to risk losing $25 over saving a seat. Of course I'm sure that some of these people who save chairs and end up losing their towels probably wouldn't have enough of a conscience and would end up stealing someone else's towel.

I had no idea what a huge safety issue this is either. I bought a travel power strip outlet for my upcoming cruise. Although it is not advertised as a surge protector, it does say that it has over current, over temperature and output short circuit protection that I would assume will put it into the category of do not bring. Thanks to all of you who have enlightened me and others who will listen to your advice on this subject. :)

As I recall the Grand & Sapphire have only the pizza & calzones shown in that multi course menu for the Royal & Regal.
That's too bad, the eggplant sounds really good. Thanks for the answer.

Does anyone have a recent menu for Alfredo's on the Grand Princess?
-
Now, I'm really confused. Can I skip the auto tip after sharing my AIBP card with my shipmates, while wearing khakis and a polo shirt on formal night?

Here is a link to coffee menu, Post #3

Indeed it does...yours as well?
Absolutely! Born & raised here in the east bay, been a Raider fan all my life, even when they were on their "road trip" in LA. Funny because Green Bay is my NFC team as my initials are GB. Thanks again for your help, enjoy your cruise and GO RAIDERS!:D

Love my packing cubes also. I have tried to convince my wife to use them but she thinks I'm crazy. Not sure if her opinion has anything to do with the packing cubes though.

Cruise Raider,
Thank you very much for your reply. I was concerned more for my sister in law driving in than myself, but it sounds like they will point her in the right direction. One less thing to worry about.
BTW does your CC name imply that you're an Oakland Raider fan?

Seems to me that this is reminiscent of the origins of cruising with first class and lower classes, much like the Titanic. That turned out pretty well didn't it?
