  1. I'm getting a little confused. Taking a cruise on the Wonder 21-26 Feb 2014. Trying to plan in-port activities. Trying to figure out what times the ship will arrive in port and depart from port. Looking HERE it would appear that the ship will be in Cozumel from 09:45-17:45. But, at the bottom of the page it says all times are in GMT. If that is true then those times are about 4-5 hrs fast from local time. That would put us in port around 3:45-4:45 in the morning??? just doesn't seem right.. I'd like to book a Jeep excursion but it doesn't start till 10:00 local and is 6hrs long. Not sure if I'd miss the boat or not.. Thanks.

EDIT my times were off, sorry my math sucks.

  2. Congrats! I'm still going through the details of our first cruise(also Disney) set to sail Feb 21st. Air line tickets, rental car, hotel... all giving me headaches. Anyway, I'm trying to surprise the wife and daughter(3y/o) for Christmas. I'm getting so excited that I'm starting to worry I won't be able to keep it a secret till then. Hope you have fun, let us know how everything goes..

  3. Ok, I need to go one step further(first timer here). When I booked my cruise my TA advised me to include grats in the purchase of the ticket. Disney charges $60/ea for this. So, technically, I haven't even boarded yet but I've already given a $180 tip. I'm fine with that as long as my trip goes well. My question is, since I've already been charged grats will I be billed a "HSC" in addition at the end of my cruise?

  4. Hate to say it but your husbands CO sounds like a real douche. I've been in the guard for almost 2yrs, 4yrs active before that(all AF). My unit is pretty lenient on drill weekends. Unless the entire unit has a mandatory class, exercise or trip planned for that particular weekend then there's no reason he couldn't make it up another time. I can't even count how many times I've gone in during the week to make up a drill I couldn't make on the scheduled weekend. And being a December drill at that, it's mostly a wash. Most of the weekend is filled with b.s. holiday parties or retirement ceremonies. If I were your husband I'd be looking into a transfer to a different unit as soon as possible. Hope you enjoy your trip.

  5. We're on the Crown Feb. 2014.

Flights are less expensive for us to fly into the Miami airport rather than Fort Lauderdale. Can anyone here tell me how far it is, approximately what a cab would cost and how much time would it take from the Miami airport to the Ft. Lauderdale pier?

    Thank you!

Who are you flying with? I'm cruising out of Miami in Feb 2014 and everywhere I look it's cheaper to fly into FLL!
