Loving your review. We are on MSC Divina on 20th September for a B2B. It is our first ever cruise.

Did your Aunt get a birthday cake for her birthday? I will be celebrating my 50th birthday whilst on board.

If you get the chance could you see if they sell British menthol cigarettes. I am not keen on marlboro. Thank you in advance.

Discounted rates are available to all retired and active Military personnel, including U.S. Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, Navy, Coast Guard, National Guard, Army Reserve and Department of Defense personnel. Qualifying guests must present an I.D. badge from their respective company at the time of booking.

 

Same for civil servants. I wasn't aware until after booking, and upon asking an MSC Cruise Consultant I was advised to fax or email a copy of my ID to Reservations. A supervisor promptly replied that my discount had been applied.

Is this the same for British military personnel?

Mike have a great time. I can't wait to get to miami and the ship on sept 20th. This will be our first cruise. We are doing a b2b to celebrate my 50th.

Tim .... If only that was possible! book via a TA and the site will not let you book either drinks packages or tours and tells you to contact the TA ... :mad: things on the useless website go from Bad to Worse.

Have loved reading your review and viewing your photos. We booked a b2b on Divina and sail on 20th September. After booking it I found cruise critic (we are first time cruisers) and were really concerned as to what we had done after reading some of the reviews, but after reading yours I now feel more at ease.

We booked the cruise for a special occasion as its my 50th birthday and our 30th wedding anniversary. You said that you got invited to the cocktail party seeing as it was your anniversary, I just wondered if you had to inform someone of this fact as I would really like to be invited but do not know if we would have to inform guest relations or something of the dates.

Unaffected by the deck 14 overhang, Good choice of room, as it is one of the larger cabins on the hump, perhaps a little close to thr lifts for my taste, but many people love being that close to the lifts for the convinience

See your balcony on the hump (12173 is the same location on the Splendida sister ship).

Thank you very much, glad it's in a good location as being new to cruising I have no idea and my TA arranged the cabin.

I'm confused now. Can hubby wear jeans with cotton shirt or polo top on casual nights. If I make him take dress trousers for the full two weeks and he sees others wearing jeans he may just throw me overboard!
