Hi, have been looking at this itinerary for next year either for the end of May or July and was wondering if the weather was ok end of May and if the sea was calm!! Have just cruised for the first time last week and sea was calm with no sea sickness.

Thanks for all the useful info. I think we will visit most places ourselves but do organised trip for Tangiar. Really looking forward to it as everyone who has sailed on IE comments on how friendly it is.
Thanks again

Due to sail next Tuesday (first time cruise) and was wondering if anyone has done this itinerary and if they have any tips or information on the ports. Have not booked any of the organised tours yet as we were just going to visit most places ourselves, unless there are any tours recommended.
Any information appreciated :)

Well I feel better about it now so thanks for that MallorcaChap. I'm sure we will have fun and that's what it's all about.

Thanks for the info. It's the second cruise for one of the group who can get motion sickness but she had no problem with it on her first cruise, however that was with Royal Caribbean and ship was a lot bigger (also in Med) Think I need to study deck plans!! Someone told us that IE is a converted ferry?? The rest of the group have nothing to compare ship to so are going with an open mind and as long as we don't have sea sickness problems, I'm sure we will enjoy.

Hi MallorcaChap,
Thanks for your reply. Think the premiers are deck 8 and 9 so either way we are high up!! Just hope it's a typical July calm sea!!
Thanks

Hi, have just book first cruse for July 2014 (Souks & Sangria) and have booked a premier cabin. I have been reading some posts re movement of ship and cabin positions and was wondering if I should pre book a cabin or if the premier cabins are ok. As its a first time cruise I don't know if sea sickness will be a problem for me!! Any other tips on the ship and Itinery would also be appreciated.

Hi,
Have booked up for next July, sailing on the Majesty for the first time doing the Hellenic Classics itinerary. We arrive in Mykonos on a Sunday and was wondering if anyone else had been here on a Sunday. Will everything be open as normal or will a lot of places be closed?
We went to Motril this year on a Sunday and most of the shops were closed, although restaurants and bars were still open open.
