  1. Good point - there is sufficient likelihood of slowdowns on that dreary drive to allow two hours above the three and a half possible. That means getting a very early start - which means going to sleep early the night before - which raises the question: why not leave Orlando the afternoon before and spending the night an easy hour away from cruise terminal -- so your first day on board does not start worn out.

Yeah I am starting to think more about it. Just don't want to spend extra money we don't need to if possible. Have a resort booked for the week before cruise through bil timeshare so that was a good deal.

  2. Alright we are heading to Orlando for a few days before our cruise out of Miami. We already have a car rented and will be driving from our Orlando resort and dropping it off at the Miami airport and taking a shuttle to the port. Cruise is December 31st. Any tips on best/fastest route to Miami? I figure I will check out maps and stuff but maybe somebody can help me out as well? TIA

  3. Thank you for clarifying this but I certainly know the

difference between "call ports" and "dep ports".

I select "dep ports" if I want to find out which ships

are leaving Port of Miami at my date of sailing and

I select "call ports" if I want to find out which ships

are in a Port of Call at the same day during my cruise.

To navigate the website mentioned above you need

to select "dep ports" for the start of a cruise and

"call ports" for all Ports of Call.

Let's take Port of Miami on a specific date, 01/20/2017.

6 ships are in port listed under "dep ports" but only

1 ship is listed under "call ports" arriving in Miami on

    this date.

I wasn't questioning you at all. I just tried to follow your instructions and i didn't get what I was looking for. Clicked the other one and found what I was looking for.

  4. Idk what I'm looking for...haha. been on a few cruises and never have been upgraded so was just asking what I could do. Biggest question which I'm thinking is a no but would I be able to get the drink package added for free or a slight pay increase?

  5. I've got a question. I just booked the Celebrity Reflection Dec. 31st last week. Had to do final payment did this through a TA. How do I go about getting an upgrade if there are any available? Do I have to wait and hope I get a call? Call the TA? Call Celebrity directly? I got a solid price on an Concierge stateroom with free gratuities and $250 obc. Was hoping for the beverage package but price jumped way up so wasn't worth it.

    Thanks in advance!
