Yes. Chilled shrimp, lobster and crab claws on Saturday night in WJ. At 11:15am on Saturday we attended a Pasta Making Demonstration with fabulous family style lunch at Giovanni's Table ($) so didn't get to the MDR on the last sea day.

The pasta making demo had been cancelled on our cruise due to health inspector regulations. [emoji30]

Thanks for the advice. I'm looking at the excursion that actually takes you to an island and if you choose you can snorkel around it or sit and lay on the beach. I was a little worried about the snorkeling for our kids and thought this would be easier for them and my oldest isn't even sure he wants to snorkel so this seemed like a better option since he could just stay on the beach

There's two excursions, one takes you snorkeling then to the island & the other just takes you straight to the island. Island is 90% no swimming. Signs posted all the way around.

Wow, can you tell us more? My wife and her sister are looking at that one for later this month.

Snorkeling is too crowded. People kicking each other. Island is 90% no swimming, 3 Starfish to man handle & an Elvis Impersonator as entertainment.

Hello,

 

This is my first time cruising and posting on any type of online forum. I will be sailing on the Liberty of the Seas on Nov. 27 and will be stopping at Roatan, Belize City, and Cozumel. All of our excursions are booked through Royal Caribbean but I am curios on how much money my husband and I will need to bring while at the ports. After our excursions we will probably want to find somewhere to eat and if we buy anything it won't be too extravagant. How much cash do you bring and what are some of the things ya'll buy when visiting these ports?

We're leaving on our cruise this Sunday, considering the holidays, I took care of my cash situation today. I have $50 in ones, $200 in fives & $100 in twenties. Small bills are critical! Hubby will take his own cash & usually takes care of tipping the ship crew. You should consider this cash expense since using the ship ATM is a bad idea & sometimes runs out of money. We also tip our awesome bartenders & waitstaff.

I agree. I am working the next two days, then leaving for Galveston to board Royal Caribbean Liberty of the Seas on Sunday. I'll be in touch.

Isn't there a state park there? What type of tour? If something is put together, I can post it on our roll call and see who is interested.

There's a National Park and Museum. We'd like to build the tour to your liking, then we can present it with a price.

I realize that but wonder if we'll see those animals any place else in the island.

Besides the animals, what else interests you? Shopping? Natural hot springs? History? We're trying to put a tour together for you.
