I just got off the Brilliance on Saturday. This particular cruise was a charter so I think things were "weird" because of that. I have to say it was the worst cruise I have ever been on (cruise wise) I still had fun but there were no "activities" and only 2 shows the whole 5 day cruise. I was told it was because it was a charter. The food was bad in the dining room, ended up eating at the buffet 3 out of 5 nights. The ship itself was nice tho.

I am guessing they went back to having both adults purchasing the package, I was online looking for our January cruise and both of us have to purchase the package. I now need to decide if it would be worth it.

I took my "free" cruise from Tropicana a few weeks ago on the Sky.

How much does one need to gamble to get some discounts from CAS?

This was my 4th NCL cruise and I am a gambler, but 95% of the time I play table games.

Since I am planning my cruise for 2013, I called CAS yesterday to see if I qualified for any kind of discount, etc.

They said NOTHING

I find this hard to believe. I don't know if it is because the SKY cruise was a short cruise or not but when I called after my pearl cruise last year they were at least offering me 15% discount when I called.

Just wondering if there was any method to their madness LOL

As a larger passenger its good to know what others find on various ships.

Miss Rabbit - I have only been on NCL, Carnival and RCCL but dont let the fear of chairs with arms keep you from the ships. On every cruise line I have been on if there was a chair with arms, all I had to ask was for a chair without arms and they have always been very helpful about it.

Now the movie theater style seating is a whole different story...

When I asked them last, they said the Table Games rule of thumb for a comped inside / blacony is $100/hand, 4 hours per day play (win or lose).

WOW - no wonder I didnt get an offer. I mostly played 3-card poker last cruise and was playing 45 a hand (15 each bet) so I fell short of the $$ amount

Blackjack - I didnt play much - I dont like those continuous shuffle machines and I find you cant get on a decent run with those.

I decided to just call CAS to see if I can get anything

The girl looked up my play from my last cruise and said she cannot offer me anything at this time. :rolleyes:

For everyone who gets the CAS offers, are you slot players or table games?

On a cruise I go to the casino every day but I am a table games person and I have never received any offers. I just may not be gambling "enough money" but time wise I am there.

I play a slot machine here and there but I like my card games ;)

Also do they give you anything if you already have a cruise booked?

I was excited at first when I saw which flower Korto was using as inspiration - but she kind of tanked.

Like I mentioned before Joe's collection looks very well constructed and I too liked some of his pieces.

I am glad I am not the only one who feels that way about Kenley

She is really starting to get on my nerves. (unfortunately that probably means she makes top 3)

I am by no means a fashionista but I liked Suede's dress - just the dress not the jacket. But then I am a "print" girl

On another note - I went to bravo.com and checked out the Bryant Park pics.

I am kind of glad they posted them. It makes it easier as I would always try to find spoilers and then you are guessing "who's collection is what"

This way I can tell.

We already know Joe is gone (tho his line looked very well constructed)

I wasn't really "wowed" by any of the collections and I really cannot tell who is top 3.
