I recommend the Sofitel. Fine location and the larger rooms are a treat, considering price of other 5* hotels in the immediate area.

Good Hotel. Before our present cruise we stayed at the Hotel Madero at the Puerto Madera. A very save and now hip area . Not far away from the Cruise Terminal.

I see its installed also and see the crane pulling out that pulled it off the deck 7. We also feel whole and complete. I would believe it helps the insurance company now feel a little better.

 

By the way; what is a Holidaymaker? Are you the one organizing this "wine and food" voyage?

"Holidaymaker": it is always a problem , when a foreigner as me (German) wants to translate a german word into english. I do not "make " holidays, i like to be on holidays. In German: Urlaub machen. So, sorry, no wine and food from me.

Spare anchor is in its place . Now we have two working anchors. The chief ing. told me this happened the first time in his professional life. In mine as cruise ship holidaymaker as well. So we have at least two things in common. Not too bad.

We are on Silver Muse, Suite 1108'. Splendid idea to book this suite. Deck 11 overlooking everything. Ship movements are ok. Our cruise ends in Babados. Will e a hard day for, having to go back to freezing northern Germany. Bitte March will come soon and Babados -Monte Carlo on Seabourn Quest is waiting for us.

Currently, the only room service offerings on the Muse are the standard room service menus. You cannot order from any of the restaurants because there is no main dining room. Perhaps this will change when they change the restaurant policies in mid-October. Having just spent 28 days on the Muse, I found it a great disadvantage to not be able to order from other dining room menus. You can place a special order (your selection) with your butler 24 hours ahead of time as long as they have the ingredients. However, beware of what you ask for. We order veal piccata and received nothing that resembled the dish.

How will they presumably change the restaurant policies? Will you be able to order from another dining room venue, or will there be other - may be significant - changes?

We shall be on the Muse for the Nov. 17 cruise from Buenos Aires to Bridgetown. So we will follow your expert infomation very closely. We are a German couple 66 and 70 and wonder how many more Germans will be on board.
