We have heard they have rejoined today.
Would love to hear their story of what happened and how they travelled to rejoin the ship and at what time spender etc.
Feel sorry for them but hopefully a warning to others.

On Vision Of The Seas..Passengers missed the ship in Santorini yesterday. Let's hope they catch up today while docked in Katakalon.
Please be aware of the cable car queues returning to the ship.
The captain did wait a while and moved off very slowly giving plenty of chance for a render to catch us.

IMO I have been on a lot of cruises, Only one msc and the only thing I could say about MSC in their favour was the wonderful cabin. Been on lots of cruises, would I go with MSC again...No. Music, entertainment, food ...Not for me and I aint fussy.
-
If you are doing excursions yourself and not through the ship always try to do morning ones. If the vehicle you are in breaks down etc then the ship wont wait for you but if the excursions are through the ship then it will wait or get you to the next port so always make sure you have plenty time to get back onboard, and always watch out for ship time and not local land time.
Have fun :-)

The thread for our cruise on Tues has 4 posts. 2 by me, 1 from the OP and one from someone else.
Why even bother starting a thread never to return?..
Unless you die of course .

There never seems to be much action on the roll calls or do I just happen to be repeatedly unlucky? Other cruise lines the roll calls are always busy.
-
Some of the other companies ships are much more modern and have more activities onboard for ex: Ice skating rink/ Flumes/ Rock climbing walls etc but you will pay much more than a Thomsons cruise. The big lines also charge gratuities whereas they are included in the Thomson price.
At the end of the day you mostly get what you pay for and Thomson cruises are good value for money.
-
I have never known any Thomson ship to openly allow you to carry drink on board for cabin use. Easy enough to get it onboard though if you use a little imagination.
Please can you post a copy of the dailies you get put in your room each night.
Hope you enjoy.
Thanks

@stelin..Please do add your review , good or bad it is always useful to others. I usually take a photo of the door so I am currently going through old photos looking for cabin numbers in the hope I can add to the reviews.
Every one helps someone. :-)
Great job@sailaway

What a great thread. Good info on the spreadsheet. Appreciate the effort that's been put in. Just a shame its not been updated. Lets hope its resurrected.

Anyone have recent input for the inside cabins on the Majesty please.

Laundry room also on deck 4 (I think) I remember our cabin was next to it. Was free to use. Mum was in it so often she even had a kind letter left from someone thanking her for removing and folding her laundry from dryer.

Agree with above poster. Have often visited Caribbean and no vaccinations necessary. Only bug you will catch is a photography one. Go and enjoy.

Hi Does anyone have the dailies they can post up for the 7 night Majesty winter cruise that leaves Tenerife? TIA

Wilson & Jlajr, thanks for the confirmation on the fridges. I thought I had read somewhere that there were no fridges in staterooms on the Spirit, so thanks for clearing that up. :)
I also thought I read somewhere there are no fridges in inside cabins.

Great review so far. Enjoying reading it especially as we are on the Spirit next Thursday:)
Is the cookies etc free in the Blue lagoon?
I shall be keeping up with the review as much as I can.

Fingers crossed for you. It must be a worrying time. Hope the fog lifts quickly today and you get on your way.
We are on her next week but flying out 2 days early.
Good luck

Really enjoying your review. We are on the spirit next week and its good to have a recent insight of the ship and the 2 for 1 offers etc which we will want to take advantage of..
Its making it more exciting now. Thx

Having just came off the ship yesterday, your plans look good though I would like to see a main street created like the RCCL voyager ships. Makes more of a meeting and coming together area which is really lacking on the Lirica.
-
Thank you for letting me know about the debit card, been panicking haha
Sounds like your having a great time! I'm about to start packing as just finished work! Excited! :)
Have a great flight and a fab holiday.

Hi
Great to see Lirica on the forum!
We're booked on her next Feb, so would love to know how many formal nights there are and when? We've only cruised on RCI so far so any tips/info would be greatly received. Subscribed!
Thanks

Hi
The ship is spotless. Most ports have free wifi but its very busy trying to get connected. We are in Kasab today. Just got a tablet 9 inch for 73pound. Stouch brand so hopeits ok.
Visa debit accepted on board no problem. Ship doesnt seem anywhere near full so plenty of loungers etc.
Theres a duty free at khor al fakkan. Ship staff not very vigilant at times.

It looks like she was wearing a bikini in the rescue photo but it might be her bra and pants. Just glad she's safe but like many others I'm sure theres more to meet the eye on this story.
