Shore Man, I live in Tampa too!!

My husband and I are going on our first cruise and its on the Oasis of the sea. Eastern!!! April 5th. We are so excited and I have been doing a lot of research and reserving! He hasn't looked once so I know he will thank me later for that!!! We have an ocean view towards the front left of the ship. We have MTD so I can reserve dinner anytime from 630-930. I have only reserved the first night and the Thursday (by research I believe that is Lobster Night!!! AHHHHH). Also, reserved for one night of comedy.

I have tried researching what to do, shore excursion wise at the islands. We did reserve for Snuba at St. Thomas but not sure about Nassau. We do want to try some conch fritters there though. And my husbands mom went to St. Maarten and participated in rum cake testing so now he wants to try that. There is a hike I think I would love to do at St. Maarten.

Did you do any shore excursions????

We are saving to get a drinking package too. It seems that drinks are very pricey and we will be celebrating so...

I wish I would have read your review before. There were so many ways of getting to Ft. Laud from Tampa. We were planning on driving but didn't want to pay $15 per day. Then we looked at staying in a hotel over night and use hotel parking but it didn't add up right (too expensive). But then I looked at buses. Escot! So I booked us two spots on the bus through Clearwater.

Again, super excited and thanks for the spreadsheet. I am OCD on planning everything out. My husband just goes with it. hahaha.

We are going to sailing on the Oasis on April 5th for our honeymoon. It will be our first time ever on a cruise so I have been trying to do as much research as possible. It seem there are a lot of hidden fees. My main thing is the drinking package. We were looking at the Select Package which is for beer and wine, but noticed that there are limits to that. Not sure if that one is worth getting or just going for the Ultimate Package. We will be celebrating and it would be nice to drink without worry of how much our bill will be at the end. With the package I saw you mention a pass. Does the pass have a picture I.D on it. Obviously there is no sharing, but I just wanted to see how they keep track. Do you have to drink within the area you bought the drink or can you walk around the ship with the drink? Sorry, so many questions.

We really want to go to the comedy club and I saw you went to the midnight one. Do you recommend we make reservations for that if we don't want to go so late?

As its our first time to the islands, we want to do some sore excursions. Are there any that you have done?
