Hello all,
First time sailing on NCL.
I am sailing the Dawn this month. We have two obstructed ocean view cabins booked. One with two adults and one with 1-adult and two teens. I put in a $150per person/$300 total balcony upgrade request for the cabin with 2-adults and a $175 per person/$350 total balcony request on the 3-person cabin. I understand that they only charge for the first two people on the upgrade request.
Yesterday I received notice that the 2-adult cabin was upgraded to a balcony. I am not complaining, but I was curious why they wouldn't have upgraded the higher bid cabin (3-person) first? The cabin that has been assigned for the balcony upgrade is a 3-person cabin.
Also, I finished checking everyone in and hasn't allowed me permission to access the e-docs. When does that typically occur? Thanks!

Sailing on the Dawn next month for an 11-day cruise. We haven't cruised in over 20-years. Do we need to make reservations to see any of the shows/comedians or do we just show up early and take an empty seat?
Thanks!

We booked a December 2014 Breeze Cruise in January of 2014 and FTTF was available and I snapped it up!

We are already booked on the Breeze....not sure if it is a typo or would matter...but it departs on December 6th...not the 8th.

Just curious if anyone knows what days the formal nights are on an 8-day Eastern Caribbean cruise on the Breeze? Want to make a reservation at the Steak Restaurant...but I don't want to book it on the formal night...
Thanks in advance..

What happens if your NCL booked flight doesn't get you to the departure port on time?

I booked our flight using buy one get one NCL airfare sale. NCL booked a connecting flight for the way to Tampa. Just curious what happens if the scheduled flights are late/cancelled and you can't get to the port in time for the ship departure?
I was surprised to see connecting flights in December from O'hare. Seems a lot could go wrong with the current air/flight cancellations and delays.
