Have you looked down the board? Many suggestions...shuttles, like SAS, QLS, Jiffy Jeff, GO Shuttle and a couple of others.

Also commonly recommended...Uber/Lyft. In your case, I would favor Uber/Lyft, as the shuttles may take a little more time to fill and get on the road. And you will be arriving into the crush at FLL from the Port Everglades ships.

We have actually used SAS and Jiffy Jeff in the past. I contacted Jiffy Jeff and they do not provide shared Shuttle service for flights before noon. I have not checked SAS yet but QLS has shuttle service from the port to FLL starting at 8:00 AM so we will probably go with them.

    Thanks!

They work hard and I always leave $25 for 7 day cruise.  I was recently on a 3 week cruise and left $75. Who knows how much of that daily gratuity they actually get?

     Standard Staterooms:

    $6.25 - Dining Services

    $3.50 - Stateroom Attendant

    $4.75 - Other Hotel Services

  3. Some cabins are laid out with the bed near the balcony, others have the sofa near the balcony. Triple and Quad cabins have the sofa near the balcony. Layout changes every other cabin. To determine if your bed is near the balcony or near the closet, look for the nearest triple or quad and calculate from there." (triples and quads are indicated with a "triangle" shape in the deck layout)

  4. My problem with prepaid gratuities is the cruise lines do not have any accountability for how the gratuities are distributed. I have heard that the crew not always get all of the gratuities. We typically prepay the gratuities for the sake of convenience but I have spoken with dining room wait staff and cabin attendants that they prefer to receive the gratuities directly. The cruise lines should be required by law to pay all of the gratuities to the crew.

  5. There is a resource site cruisedeckplans dot com....this is what they say for easy reference, (this message will pop up if you hold the cursor over the cabin you are interested in:

  6. I have heard that it is not uncommon for Coco Cay to get cancelled due high winds or rough seas. We have been to Labadee several times but we will going to Coco Cay for the first time in May. Are cancellations more frequent during certain months of the year?

  7. I greatly prefer Coco Cay, but I voted Labadee because you can actually get there. Coco Cay has been cancelled 3 of our past 4 cruises.

  8. It is for the entire cruise. RCI no longer requires those opting for MTD to prepay gratuities. If you do not want to prepay, it is your choice. I find it easier to prepay just because it is another expense out of the way. But everyone is different.

When did this policy change? Can you provide a link where I can find this on the website?

    Thanks?

  9. Yes, that would be very nice. I am one of the strange people who actually tries to do work on the ship. A better internet would be fantastic!

The slow internet on the ships has been my excuse for not bothering to take my work laptop on a cruise. The Internet service was super fast on Oasis last year and the prices for the Internet packages were very reasonable. I was able to stream video, FaceTime and upload photos without any problems. I won't let my job know how much it has improved. ;-)

  10. Regarding taxi: Are there vehicles that will accommodate 5 people?

We were on Oasis of the Seas the week of 5/9-5/16 and were in Cozumel on the 14th. This was our 1st time going to Nachi. Seems like the majority of the taxis were vans so you will not have any problems getting a taxi accommodate 5 people. My wife and I were in a van with just the two of us on our trip to Nachi and the return trip back to the pier.

  11. We were just at Nachi 4/16 and absolutely loved it! We had Carlos as our waiter and he was literally running up and down the beach in the hot sun waiting on people all day...he def got and earned a very nice tip! And I didn't find the drinks to be weak at all! In fact, I was afraid I just might be a participant in the "running of the drunks"!

The water was calm when we were there and loved swimming in the ocean. Hit the pool a couple times, but it got way too warm for me by the second time we took a dip. But it was a very nice pool otherwise.

The food was fantastic. I got the quac..to die for! Went for the fruit for my salad part. Too many marqaritas and don't remember my main entre! But I was full! We shared the desserts and nobody finished them but they were delicious.

I had an amazing massage on the beach! Dorita was my therapist and she was excellent...I say this from a professional view as I am a massage therapist myself...these women know what they are doing and worth every penny!

We absolutely enjoyed every minute of our day and if we ever find ourselves cruising back to Cozumel, I would not hesitate for minute to make Nachi our home for the day again!

    How much was the massage?
