  1. ...Strange, never saw $10 min bet for Craps on Carnival before, and I play all the time. Were the tables busy all week? Perhaps this was a Premier Casino week with some bigger players sailing.

We played at least once/day for 5 days and it was $10 each time. I never asked the dealers if this was the new norm. No, the table was not always busy. It was empty most of the time during the days (if open at all) and busy off and on at night.

The table seemed busier with a $5 min when we sailed on the Magic a couple years ago.

  2. I called the players club number and gave them the number on the offer they sent me. Got a better rate, the credit (which was on the offer) and the drinks are on us card. When we get on the ship, I just go to the cage when they open, give them my card I got in the mail and they will give us the credit on our SS cards and a sticker for our card too.

  3. Another helpful hint for the Rum runners- Squeeze all the air out after filling them and pack them with your toiletries in your checked luggage. Distribute your smuggled spirits amongst all pieces of your checked luggage so if one gets checked and you get caught, you will still have other liquor for your needs. We also use the shamp-booze bottles, which work fabulously. My rumrunners have made it on 7 cruises undetected and are getting ready for their 8th voyage in a month!! :D

  4. I am making it a point to hit up every bar on the ship so what one doesn't have I am sure another will. I do know if you ask nicely and give a tip, they will usually fetch one up for you if they don't have one there handy. When I got my blowfish, they were walking around the Lido with the DOD in them.

  5. Let us keep our Magic. She is a beautifull ship. I love her.... Yes it needs to add the taco bar and Guys and it will be perfect....

Oh my goodness- I couldn't agree more!! The Magic needs to stay right where its at. Galveston is a fantastic port and its the perfect home for the Lady Magic. I could easily see the Freedom taking the place of the Triumph though.

  6. We are on this same cruise!! :D Just Google Zydecocruiser and Magic MDR menu. There you will find the basically what they serve. Also there was a poster here- Coltsmom, that had the funtimes posted for the same itinerary we are doing. It may help.

  7. I booked our upcoming cruise on a Saturday and the following Monday got an offer in the mail to book at a Casino Rate and with casino credit. Called them got the rate and was told to go to the casino cage with the cards we rec'v in the mail for the casino credit and to get my on Us card for the cruise. I was astounded to get this. We last cruised in 2012 on the magic and I guess I won enough to qualify for this!!
