  1. All of these responses are so great!! I think we definitely want to do cave tubing and zip lining. My husband saw something about the Pirates of the Carribean zip lining he was interested in. I also wouldn't mind doing a city tour either, but not interested in being in a big group of people. And would also love to try the local restaurants every chance we get. Would you guys recommend doing things through the ship? Or only at certain ports?

And any recommends on food at any of the ports? I know some of you have already made a few, but just wondering if anyone else had any?

    Thank you all!

  2. Thank you so much cruise life. that was really helpful, and it's good to know about the weight room right above deck 11, port. i haven't been on the dream before so I'm unfamiliar with the deck plans. Do you know what's above deck 11, starboard side? the only spa rooms left on panorama are forward, very front of the boat (rooms 11209, 11225, 11237 & 11243). the higher numbers look like they're close to stairs and an elevator bank, so i'm thinking they might get more traffic/noise. But I can't tell if there are rooms above those or if it's part of the spa above.

I think you've got me sold on deck 11, starboard. Now it's just a matter of which forward room!

  3. Thanks all for these great comments. I'm trying to decide between a balcony room on the spa deck and an aft extended balcony.

The only rooms left for the aft extended are on upper (#6498) and verandah (#8468). Any reviews/suggestions? I care more about the noise level than I do about actual size of room/balcony.

  4. Thanks surf jock! I was wondering if the spa deck would be quieter for that reason. I've been on a few cruises before and had issues with noise and being able to hear kids running up and down the halls so I'm looking for an area that would have less of that.

Did you have problems with noise from the deck above?

  5. Hi everyone,

My husband are still debating on what cabin to book on the Carnival Dream (March 1st sailing). We are going to get a balcony room regardless, but our options are dwindling and I'm looking for any reviews on which decks are best, room reviews, etc.

I'm really looking for something that's quiet and private, so I was thinking the Spa deck, but I've been seeing a lot of mixed reviews. So throw out any and all of your experiences!

    Thanks so much!

  6. Thank you! I was wondering if the empress deck would be quieter than deck 6. I have seen a review for the Premium Vista Balcony room that's available, and it seems that it is above the lounge/club which I think would be an issue.

Would anyone happen to know if there's a difference between the empress deck and the spa balcony rooms? I imagine the spa level might be quieter?

    Thanks!

  7. Hi everyone!

My husband and I are thinking about booking a cruise on the Carnival Dream and are considering either the "Premium Vista Balcony" that wraps around the stateroom (specifically room 6479, Upper Deck, Aft) or an "Aft-View Extended Balcony" (choice between Upper and Empress Decks). Was wondering if anyone has previously had either of these rooms and could provide some insight about them or which might be better.

We prefer something that's more quiet and private so was looking to get any feedback/advice!
