Received an email today from HAL giving us each Future Cruise Credit equal to 25% of our fare on this cruise. We have a cruise booked for Feb 2023 so I applied it to that payment.

Yes, we're in a PH jr suite so no problem.

On my cruise dining and excursions both opened at midnight Pacific time.

But, I’m supposed to board on Sunday. And, this is was a trip planned last minute when Yellowstone flooded. Which was actually our 4th time trying to get there, with 3 previous trips canceled. I’m starting to feel like the universe is telling me to stay home. 

I’m assuming they have the equipment at their base in Seattle that they didn’t have in Sitka to fix the problem.

I’m on the Westerdam. They tried to fix it yesterday and couldn’t so we’re averaging about 16 knots. Stopping in Victoria tonight for 1 hour to fulfill that stupid law and continuing on to Seattle for Sunday morning.

They do in Seattle, not sure about anywhere else.

Would anyone have a comparison between Holland America Neptune Suite and Viking PJS? Also a first timer.

I've booked the regular restaurant for every night just to be covered. When the specialty window opens do I have to cancel the first reservation first for any alternate bookings?

We rented a rollator for our upcoming Alaska cruise from scootaround .com. They will deliver it to the room. There is probably a different scenario for a motorized scooter.

Viking just added a $500 OBC and Silver Spirit package to our Aug cruise. Will they add it to our booking if I call?

We're doing this cruise in August and will be following closely.

Anybody know a place in Seattle? We're staying a few days at Homewood Suites near the pier.

I called Viking this morning for flights for next year and got a recording that they are only booking flights for cruises within the next 60 days.

We were on the Zuiderdam for the Feb 2023 Hawaii, Tahiti 35 day and I can't say I'm too happy about the switch.

Just booked Viking for the first time for Aug 2022. Our final payment is next month. Is this normal? Over a year before the cruise?

Just booked Oosterdam July 2022 Alaska out of Seattle.

Got full refund after 77 days. Patience is a virtue as my mom used to say.

We've only been in Neptune Suites but will not be in any type room on a cruise ship going forward.

Can I buy the $25 soda card (worth $50) on board or is it only available before? 

I always book as soon as possible. I already booked for July 2020 and prices have gone up since then.
