  1. Hi Lois. I shopped at the Chico's at the Avenues yesterday and was shocked when they told me they would be closing March 26. So sad. I prefer the Avenues over the Town Center because it is more convenient for me. The Coldwater Creek, at the outlet mall here in St.Augustine, closed a while back. My options are getting limited. I hope the people at those stores have found other jobs. Have a wonderful time on your upcoming cruise.

  2. Just booked IOS 13 day Caribbean Journey to the UK departing May 4 from Ft. Lauderdale. Inside promenade for $750.00. Total with taxes, fees & gratuities was about $1000. OV was $850ish plus all taxes & fees. Not cheap when you add airfare but if someone had airline miles to use the cruise itself is less than $100 per night. Plus I totally forgot to add there is a C&A savings certificate which helps too.

I just booked this cruise also. E2 balcony $1263 minus $200 C&A savings certificate so total including taxes and fees is $1063. I'm so excited!! I have only done one other TA and that was with my late husband. I have done a couple of solo cruises since he passed away five years ago. Since he's not here, I find I prefer to cruise solo than with anyone else. And I have been wanting to go to London. WooHoo!!

I can't go but it was fun running across such a bargain.

I would have liked to have met Nancy.

My condolences to her family and friends.

I saw this cruise today also and if I could find a good price on flights would seriously consider the July 4th sailing.

And my condolences to Nancy's family as well. I always enjoyed her posts. She will be missed.

  4. Thank you so much for the info. Will send my certificate in this weekend. I guess the worst thing that could happen would be for them to refuse to use it on this cruise and I'd have to book another by the end of January! How awful that would be!!

    Thanks again,

    Sandra

  5. Hi everyone,

Please forgive me if this has been answered recently, but has anyone had the $500 certificate credited back to their credit card after the final payment has been made? I'm looking to book an October cruise so the full payment will be due at booking. I will try and call the 800 # in the next day or so and ask them, but maybe some of you have the answer.

    Thanks for your help,

    Sandra
