I thought the earliest check in now is 12:30 to 1 since they changed the port arrival time to 10 am. That is the earliest time ever could choose for our Pride cruise in early October.

Etski, we are on your cruise too & are doing the Chef's Table. We booked online ahead of time. It is my understanding that it fills up quickly. I also did some research ahead of time & they do accommodate those with allergies just let them know when you book it. I am a picky eater so I am hoping that I will be able to at least taste each item.

Does anyone remember what type of deck parties they had on board? I understand from a previous cruiser they had a "white" night. Someone from our roll call on another social media site wants to know if they had an 80's rock party. Also what were the shows like?
-
We have a roll call. Come join us! I will be on the Serenity deck with my blue & green mardi gras beads at sailaway. There is also a place to sign up for an official meet n greet on the roll call thread (I think that's where it is).

Perhaps the hotels do not have that package available at this time? I know that has happened to me when I have tried for book it so far ahead.

These responses answered a question on a roll call page that someone said that only 12-pack cartons of soda were allowed. I was planning on taking 3 or 4 cans of iced tea, so it looks like that will be allowed.

If you booked through a Carnival PVP they can add the request to your cruise.

Pat & Diane's in Freeport.

We always stay in the White Marsh area. We book online with the hotel chain directly. Go in & choose their packages. If they haven't sold out all of the park n cruise packages it will show up as a special promotion. We have stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn & Fairfield Inn. There is also the Hampton Inn & Residence Inn.

According to the CD schedule, Leigh is only on for a short time until Steve (I think) comes back. I know Leigh will be on for the week we cruise leaving October 8. JH just had a little interview with Leigh on another social media page.
It is my understanding Ken is not on the Pride any longer. I loved to hear him sing so I will miss him as Maitre' D.

Good to know John Reid. Thanks!

We stay in the White Marsh area as we are coming down from the north. The Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton Inn, Fairfield Inn offer park-n-cruise packages. If you are flying into BWI there are hotels there that also offer them.

According to JH, the Pride CD from 8/28 - 10/23 is Leigh Xuereb, who I have never heard of before. Steve Knisley returns after the 10/23 cruise.

Did you have a choice AM or PM for the steward to service the room? We are close to the cabin where you were in when we cruise in October. What was the steward like? Were they friendly, willing to go the extra mile?? We typically ask for ice everyday & on some cruises we have had amicable stewards & on others not so much so. Refrigerators used to be stocked but heard they no longer do so. Do you remember if they were stocked or not?

We are in a cabin close to where you were located on our cruise in October. Do they still have twice a day service by your steward? Did the steward go the extra mile?
-
We come from south central PA and stay in the White Marsh area with sleep-n-cruise packages including shuttle to the port. If anyone flying in you may want to stay at a hotel close to BWI that offers a similar package.
-
Laura, we are also on the October 9th cruise. Come check out our roll call if you haven't already done so. We have a Carnival meet-n-greet scheduled too.
-
Hmmm someone had taken a photo showing the word "closed" for each day of the week where they post the hours they are open. Maybe it was just a joke or something. If we don't hear more on these boards, I'll find out in October!
-
If you are coming from the north south to Baltimore, I would highly recommend a hotel in the White Marsh area. You'll have to search under the packages for the hotel. Besides the Hampton Inn, Hilton Garden Inn & the other ones mentioned, the Residence Inn also offers a cruise & stay package. We have booked the Hampton Inn in October for $199.00 + tax which includes breakfast & the shuttle back & forth to the port. Considering what one pays to park at the port, this works well for us as I do not need to fret about traveling in traffic trying to get to the port especially if one of the Baltimore sports teams have a home game.

On the Carnival boards there is discussion as to why Jack's Shack has "Closed" on their website. Someone thought maybe they were on vacation. Someone else heard that they had sold out. Does anyone here know?
-
We always come down the day before on a park-n-cruise rate. If that's not a viable option, then the ones getting dropped off could wait outside the terminal until those that park their cars get there.
-
I typically need to wear a sweater or jacket. On formal night I have a shawl that I wear because I think it is chilly.
-
I thought it was Steve Knisley??

Ken is the best we've ever had too. Anyone have any comments/experience with Bimal the Maitre'd on the Pride now?
Just off the Pride - here’s my review :)

Was there a Mardi gras party?
