  1. Hi everyone

I am going on my first cruise next month (RCI Rhapsody of the Seas) to the south pacific.

Do I need to organise some local currency for spend during shore excursions etc. and if so what do I need??

We are stopping at Lifou, Loyalty Island; Nouméa, New Caledonia; Mystery Island, Vanuatu; Isle of Pines, New Caledonia

    Thanks :)

  2. Hi, I am confused :o

We are going on our first cruise on Rhapsody of the Seas this March.

I am trying to work out the dining.

So I am thinking that if I book MTD I can just show up and possibly have to wait a little or I can make a booking on the boat?

    We have 2 children 5 & 7 - what about them?

Do I book for them also? I assume they eat with us?

If I book for them and they are at the kids club what happens then?

I have been reading the posts but I am still not really sure what I need to do.

In a perfect world I don't really want the commitment of having a set time for dinner, I would rather wing it.

    Advice is very much appreciated

    Thanks

PS. when will the entertainment usually show up on the website btw

  3. Well I have just booked our first Cruise!!

We are leaving March 20 2015 on Rhapsody of the Seas.

We have also booked cabin 7652 AFT corner balcony which I am super excited about!!

Will be travelling with hubby and our 2 girls that will be 5 & 7.

I looked for a roll call but it seems one hasn't been started yet?

I'm sure I'll be on with lots of questions over the next year lol

    :)

  4. Hi Everyone

We are looking at a cruise (first timers) then docks in hong at 10pm and leaves the follow day at 4pm. It on Mariner of the Seas (RCI) Mar 7 2015

Would there be a enough time to head out in the morning as take our kids to Hong Kong Disney??? We could get there when the park opens which seems is 10am and I was thinking leave at 2pm to get back on to the boat?

Our kids would be 5 & 7 so 4 hours would probably be enough time for them but I would wondering if people thought this was a crazy idea?

    What do you think?

  6. Hi

We are considering booking our first cruise... Mariner of the Seas Feb 2015

Our daughters will be 5 & 7 at the time of the cruise. The age grouping is 3-5 & 6-8 so it seems they will be separated, can they do stuff together, eg join each other groups or even just the older join the younger or must they stick to there grouping?

My girls are very close I am sure they'd want to spend some time together?

    Thanks in advance :)
