Hi everyone
Â
I am going on my first cruise next month (RCI Rhapsody of the Seas) to the south pacific.
Â
Do I need to organise some local currency for spend during shore excursions etc. and if so what do I need??
Â
We are stopping at Lifou, Loyalty Island; Nouméa, New Caledonia; Mystery Island, Vanuatu; Isle of Pines, New Caledonia
Â
Thanks :)

See this is why I am confused, I don't want to make advanced bookings but I thought I need to say yes to MTD? So do I just say yes to MTD for the whole family and the wing it from there?
Â
Thanks coralc, good to know 😊

So do I need to book MTD for the kids? If I book for them does it matter if they don't go?

Hi, I am confused :o
Â
We are going on our first cruise on Rhapsody of the Seas this March.
I am trying to work out the dining.
Â
So I am thinking that if I book MTD I can just show up and possibly have to wait a little or I can make a booking on the boat?
Â
We have 2 children 5 & 7 - what about them?
Do I book for them also? I assume they eat with us?
If I book for them and they are at the kids club what happens then?
Â
I have been reading the posts but I am still not really sure what I need to do.
Â
In a perfect world I don't really want the commitment of having a set time for dinner, I would rather wing it.
Â
Advice is very much appreciated
Thanks
Â
PS. when will the entertainment usually show up on the website btw

Papa flamingo I will def let you know about the cabin.
Â
Thanks for all the info travel plus
Yes we plan to have a day or two in Sydney before heading off.
Â
Very excited, shame it is a year away lol, still will give us time to pay for it!

Thanks for your welcome and replies. The one thing we are trying to work out is the pre-paid gratitudes. How will people know we have paid, won't we end up
Tipping twice?

Hi Everyone
Â
We are looking at a cruise (first timers) then docks in hong at 10pm and leaves the follow day at 4pm. It on Mariner of the Seas (RCI) Mar 7 2015
Â
Would there be a enough time to head out in the morning as take our kids to Hong Kong Disney??? We could get there when the park opens which seems is 10am and I was thinking leave at 2pm to get back on to the boat?
Â
Our kids would be 5 & 7 so 4 hours would probably be enough time for them but I would wondering if people thought this was a crazy idea?
Â
What do you think?

Hi
Â
We are considering booking our first cruise... Mariner of the Seas Feb 2015
Â
Our daughters will be 5 & 7 at the time of the cruise. The age grouping is 3-5 & 6-8 so it seems they will be separated, can they do stuff together, eg join each other groups or even just the older join the younger or must they stick to there grouping?
Â
My girls are very close I am sure they'd want to spend some time together?
Â
Thanks in advance :)
