  1. If you’re lucky enough to be given an upgrade to a CC Suite do you enjoy Prime C and Aqualina included?

likewise can you have breakfast in Aqualina?

How about the additional suite privileges for laundry and Wi-Fi.

    Asking for a friend 😉

  2. I just contacted my TA to see if this offer can be applied for the additional OBC.

After 3 hours i received a callback stating it could not as my booking was made after 31st August. This coincides with the Best Price Guarantee which expired 31st August 2022.

All UK bookings after this date will not have the latest offers applied.

My airline (AA) changed the time of my flight from Barcelona on June 4 from 1:30pm to 9:40am. The ship docks at 6am; is making that flight at all possible if we arranged for a private transfer? The later options are weird connections or on other airlines so I thought I’d ask the community.

If you disembark at 6am it is possible, just.

At that time of day 20 mins in a tai would have you at the airport, but as others have mentioned any delays would be pushing it.

  4. I have just had a Phishing attempt via text message on my mobile number which P&O have, pretending to be from HSBC, I have had this mobile phone number for 7 years with no previous phishing attempts received.

This sounds like too much of a coincidence to me on the day a data breach is reported.

Don't click on any links in emails or texts people... and change your passwords.

  5. I am looking at booking a Cruise tomorrow on Oceana from Dubai but I am unclear on the little extras between the suite vs mini suite categories as I have not had this grade on Oceana previously.

For instance do mini suite guests get a breakfast venue etc?

    Any help appreciated

    Thanks

  6. Azura A751 is not the same as Azura C751. We have stayed in A751 and we have also stayed in C749 which is next door to C751. We originally booked C751 but looking on the Princess section of this website I discovered a thread which showed which cabins on the same design as Azura had a steel sort of stanchion going through the balcony. So as C749 was vacant we changed. We did go into C751 and chatted with the couple there. I would have not been too happy with the balcony on this cabin. It is difficult to place the loungers and chairs because of the steel girder. Some people have said they don't mind about it and don't find it too intrusive. Just for the record the suites on the aft of both Ventura and Azure that don't have the steel girder going through the balcony are: A750 and A751, C748 and C749. I'm not sure about those suites on D and E deck, perhaps someone else might be able to help there.

Thanks annieuk, I noticed that B2 suites on Riviera deck are available at the same price, have you experience of staying in these?

  7. We had an aft Penthouse on Ventura which had a metal stanchion running through the middle of the balcony. It wasn't an issue at all as the view out from the cabin wasn't impacted and the balcony was large enough that you didn't really notice it. I wouldn't worry about it. We would stay in an aft suite on Ventura or Azura again without hesitation, unlike aft suites on Britannia which we would never use again, even though we prefer the ship!

Thank you Selbourne, I think....as we have an upcoming cruise in November in an aft Britannia suite!! I do seem to have a certain knack in picking silly cabins :')

What were your issues with the aft suite on Britannia? May I ask which suite you occupied?

  8. Has anyone stayed in this cabin? I have heard stories that steels run through the balcony. It would be great to hear if people found this annoying as we have just booked for 14 night Med cruise May 2019 today. I booked first and researched later...doh!

  9. Yay! What did you book? I am on Britannia on 30th Sept and have booked 3 times to see Madeline Bell, Judy& Liza and Jacki Graham. On a previous trip I saw Dean Andrews and really enjoyed it. I know Madeline and Jacki have been regulars and I figured they must be good to get their contract renewed!

Sorry for the delay Florry but I've been on hols to Portugal and the better half doesn't like me going online on holiday....

Anyway, we have booked to see an American singer Christina Bianco https://www.christinabianco.com/schedule. We opted for her as it was a few days into the cruise and not too likely to be a formal night, we were not too keen on the alternative tribute to Eric and Ernie double act or Sinbad from Brookside!!. I assume the artists are different in the Caribbean to Europe.
