Just finished filling out my set sail paperwork for cruise at the end of June. We had to sign up for an appointment to board is that new? The earliest time we could choose was 1:00-1:30. We had planned on arriving at pier by 11 in the hopes of getting on around 12. Does anyone have experience with how strict Royal is with their appointments or has anyone recently boarded before 1?

On the way back our flight leaves at 10:15. Royal recommended 11:30 as earliest flight but I was thinking if we walk off we should be off boat by 7 and it is a short drive to airport from pier. Has anyone recently disembarked from Allure and can confirm that walk-offs are off boat by around 7ish?

Does anyone know if there is any places open on Orient that serve food/drinks? We will be there at the end of June. Would prefer to go to Orient and help stimulate the recovery if we can.

By Captain Alan, do you mean Billy bones charters? We took them last month and had a great experience. There were 12 of us so we basically chartered a boat, but pretty much kept to the published itinerary. Absolutely no complaints. I wrote a review of them on this site

Billy Bones is different from Alan/Bob. They do not fit our needs because we are a group of two. If we had a larger group and wanted a charter for just our group they would probably be a good fit.

The tours and prices look to be almost identical. Has anyone done both? Anyone had good or bad experiences with Bob or Alan?

We really enjoyed Park Cafe when we went on Oasis in 2014. It will be our first time on Allure, but if the food at their park cafe is comparable I am sure we will frequent it often.

I am mainly asking about places with fees, because we are considering getting the ultimate dining package and trying to calculate value.

Other than Windjammer are their other options available for lunch on Allure for Embarkation day. I know MDR is closed but will Chops/Giovannis/Sabor/Jonny Rockets be open for service. If they are open can you use ultimate dining package to eat there?

Sailing on Allure in June 18. Beverage packages are available to purchase but not dining yet. How soon before sail date will the dining packages become available to purchase online? I am hoping that they are available when Black Friday rolls around.

We have the opportunity to book one of these cabins on our upcoming cruise. Has anyone stayed in them? Experiences? Preferences?

Does anyone know if the Zip line is just a 1 ride only purchase or can you ride it as much as you want for the fee?

Any recommendations for seeing the Volcano? I would love to do a tour that allowed us some hiking, sight seeing and beach time but I don't know how feasible that is.

Has anyone chartered a boat on Grand Cayman? There is a group of 10 (2 children 5/1) looking for a company to do a tour including stingrays, some snorkeling and some beach time; we would need a boat that has some shaded areas for the kids. I would like to keep it under 100pp. If anyone has used someone that they enjoyed please let me know.

I couldn't tell if the question regarding cabins was referring to me. We are looking at 1704/1706 on Liberty of the seas.

Not an ethical issue, book the kids where you would pay the least and let them sleep where they want.

I was thinking that but didn't want to get in trouble with the stateroom attendant if we ask him to make up both of the pullout beds or if you could get thrown off the ship if they catch children sleeping in a room that wasn't assigned to their reservation.

We are planning a future cruise for summer 2017.

We are looking into a junior suite for my wife and I and an adjoining balcony for my parents. We have two young children (under 5). Sometimes they prefer to sleep with us and sometimes they prefer to sleep with their grandparents.

It would be cheaper to put assign them to the balcony room reservation but I am not sure if that is ethical. Normally this isn't an issue because we have the same type of room but on this occasion we have different classes of cabin.

Thoughts/opinions on what I should do?

We are staying in the Doubletree by Hilton this Friday. We will get in around 1:00 pm and after dropping off our stuff at the hotel we want to head towards OSJ. Any recommendations for a good lunch place. Would like some authentic Puerto Rican food. Looking for a place that ranges from 10-20$ a plate.

I am considering Pelayo but open to other suggestions.

My wife and I are going back on the Adventure (where we took our honeymoon) for our 10 year anniversary.

When we went the first time we had a standard balcony but I want to splurge and go with a JS this time.

Can you give any recommendations between Aft Balcony on this ship like 1694 vs a hump balcony (1612,9618)?

Would love to hear peoples thoughts or opinions on this.

Unfortunately my TA said the only non JS aft balconies available are 9704, 9706, 9406 and 9404. Should I look into a hump balcony instead or pony up the extra $ for a JS aft balcony?

Sailing is on the 27th.

I didn't realize the balcony space was a big difference between e2 and e1.

I would appreciate cabin suggestions want to make this special as it is our 10 year wedding anniversary cruise.
