my husband and I have been there twice and each time went on Capt Bob's adventure - it is the BEST ever and you will not regret it. If I am ever back I will do it again. One amazing day!!!!

We have done Capt Bob tour twice (well worth the money), however to my knowledge his tours are all day tours, unless he has added a new half day.

The boat is equipped with the styrofoam noodles for snorkeling ease. You can grab a couple for the short swim to and from the boat. We just completed our second excursion with Soualiga Tours. Captain Bob the first trip and now his equally capable , patient and entertaining son Captain Brett.

Bob is administrative now. Captain Brett is the real deal.

My husband and I TOTALLY agree with you. We went on two Princess Cruises last year where St. Maarten was one of the stops and we did Capt Bob's boat trip on both. We did not think it could get any better, but we were wrong - second one was even more spectacular. Capt Bob is a WONDERFUL Capt and he trained his son Brett VERY well. They are very helpful and careful with anyone on the boat that has any fear or problems getting off/on the boat. This excursion was very much the highlight of our cruises. Don't miss out on it - you will not be disappointed!!!!

I have not seen much on this, we booked Beach Getaway With Open Bar and I was trying to find out what Beach it is at. We are going in January. Just looking for more info on this. Thanks for any new input.

We are on the Fascination April and signed up for the beach with open bar $49 and wondering which beach and how it was??

So "did our excursion go well”, NO, it didn’t go well – it was "FABULOUS" !!!!!!!!!

We thought that our trip in March 2014 with Capt Bob was the best ever and could not be any better. However in December 2014 when we were in St. Maarten on the Regal Princess we had such a GREAT time before that we elected to join Capt Bob's excursion again. This time we were on the boat with his son, Capt Brett and First Mate Laura. Capt Bob, you should be proud of yourself, you have taught your son very well. He did an EXCELLENT job and First Mate Laura was a pleasure. They worked very well together and make a very cute couple.

Finally received email confirmation from Godfrey Tours today for our St Thomas day on Dec 3.

He stated in his email that he was sorry but he had been experiencing computer problems. So hopefully the rest of you will get confirmations from him as well.

Now, lets just hope he shows up at the doc :)

Did you actually get confirmation back from Godfrey Tours? We will be in St Thomas on Dec 3 and have tried numerous time to reach him via email, website, phone all to no avail.

We are on the Regal Princess scheduled to be in St Thomas Dec 3rd. We have sent numerous emails, phone calls and filled out form on his site and to date have not had any response or confirmation from Godfrey Tours. Have you?? When are you going? Our Cruise leaves Nov 30th if you get back before we leave, let us know if Godfrey showed up!!

We used Godfrey tours last year, and had a great tour. I have been trying to book again for January for our group of 19 and did get one response but he didn't have the right tour confirmed, and wanted a deposit. I have since emailed 5 times in the last month, some replying to the email from him, and some emails directly from his website and I still haven't heard from him. I have been looking for a different tour now. I wanted the shopping and beach tour that was $20 per person.

Hello - My wife and I are on Princess Cruise and will be in St Thomas on Dec 3rd. Have sent Godfrey numerious emails, 5 phone calls and filled out tour from from his web site 4 times in the last three weeks and have not had any response from him yet. Did you ever find another tour in St Thomas to take? If so can you share the name of the tour so we can try and book them for Dec 3rd.

I am back from my cruise and will report on my tour with Godfrey.

 

We too had trouble getting hold of Godfrey by email. This is their slow season and they are off alot. He was there and waiting for us promptly at he pier for our tour.

We enjoyed the tour. It now includes complementary punch at a garden house lookout point and a "world famous banana daiquiri" at the mountaintop lookout point. That area is incredibly beautiful and the banana daiquiri was absolutely great! They were $10 so glad they were included in the tour.

 

He also passed out bottled water.

 

The part that could have been improved was that the speaker sytem was not good. Godfrey drove in the cab and used a headset with speaker. I had trouble understanding and hearing his narration due to the chatter of one Spanish speaking man and the poor speaker sytem. When Godfrey got out of the taxi to give a narration he did an excellent job.

 

We choose Meagan's Bay and it was beutifull. You could go to cocki for free or pay the park service $4 to get into meagan's . Once inside there were chairs to rent, but we just utilized one of the picnic tables and swam

Have emailed him 3 times as well as left 3 phone messages. We used godfrey@godfreytoursvi.com - is this what you used? We are not getting a little skeptical about booking with him in fear that he may not show when ship arrives.....

My wife and I were on the Royal Princess Cruise in the Eastern Caribbean in March 2014. A co-worker had just taken the same cruise in December & HIGHLY recommended spending the day with Capt Bob while in St. Maarten. We booked the trip on line before we left & Capt Bob was quick to respond & reserve our excursion. This was one of the highlights of our cruise. Capt Bob & his son Brett were exceptional guides & hosts for the day. We snorkeled with sea turtles & tons of beautiful fish. We even came across a school of dolphins that we stopped to admire. Cold beer, soft drinks & water were in abundance on the boat. Lunch was at a GREAT restaurant on the beach, where we had fresh Mahi Mahi. We also had our first taste of a Guavaberry Colada - oh man was this to die for!!!! Also stopped to watch the planes at the Famous Maho Beach St Maarten Princess Juliana Int'l Airport. We plan on going back in the near future & will definitely book again with Capt Bob!!!!!!!!!! Regards to Capt Bob and Brett, John & Janice Reid – Atlanta, GA.

So has anyone actually stayed in one of the Royal Princess BZ cabins? My husband and I are looking at booking the March 16-23, 2014 cruise and looking at this cabin..
