We did it on the Conquest, but I've been told it's basically the same. We got 3 photos- us with Captain, group with Captain, and group in front of ships bell. There were 2 of us and we both got copies of the photos.
We got lanyards, hats, bracelets, and drawstring bags. We also had chocolate covered strawberries and cookies in our room after compliments of the pastry chef. The steakhouse gave us carved soap by the person who does the ice carvings.
It's well worth the money. Bring good walking shoes and it's also a lot of stairs.

I remember a while back John Heald tried to visit a Princess ship in a port. They wouldn't let him on. I like the idea but I don't think it'll ever happen.

I'd do either IOS or Vista. Freedom class ships are beautiful. Vista is brand new. Plus, you get an extra night.

A large adult man wearing Minnie Mouse ears all week. He said they helped him get (fill in the blank) all week.

We've always loved Sea Day brunch. Also, breakfast in MDR on port days is good, as well as Blue Iguana if the ship has one.

We use them every cruise and have never had an issue applying them at check in in Miami, Port Everglades, or Port Canaveral.

The coves are definitely a fan favorite. I'm in the small minority that doesn't care for them. They're on deck 2 which is so far away from the action. They also don't get any sunlight. The awesome thing about them though is coming back from port- just a couple flights of stairs and you're back home while mostly everyone else is waiting for the elevator. Enjoy your cruise!

We use gift cards every cruise and apply them at check in to avoid a trip to guest services. We've never had an issue applying them at check in. Also, every time we've tried to apply them at the kiosk they've shown a zero balance and we've had to go to guest services anyway.

Even if you don't eat in the dining room, your gratuities will cover staff in other venues. Best to leave them in place.
If you like the staff in the dining room you can request to sit in their section every night and tip additional.

Between the mattresses is the only place I can think of. Or in suitcase under the bed.

I wish they had a Carnival charm! I do buy one charm in port per cruise.

We only buy them for fuel perks. We pay for our cruise with them and use them toward our on board account.

I'm sailing on the Magic 10-1-16 and I have a few gift cards. Do I need to just take them to guest services to have them put on my S&S account? Also just to clarify, when I have them added as OBC the funds can be used for whatever purchases are made on the S&S card (ex. tips, excursions, spa)?
We just apply them at guest services. Every time we've tried to use the kiosk the gift card balance had shown up as zero and we've had to go to guest services. By applying at check in you can bypass all that.

I met a guy in Vegas 13 years ago and we still talk several times a week. If we didn't live 1000 miles apart we'd probably be together. We've seen each other twice since then but not for many years.

Might want to also ask in your roll call! Have fun on your cruise, Liberty is a great ship.

I've always pre booked except for once. The price was the same on the ship.

I would pick Independence OTS and show him a video of the Dragon's Breath zip line in Labadee. Freedom class ships are gorgeous.
Second choice would be Vista. We're doing that exact cruise in April.
