we have never sailed P and O but I am tempted by the Britannia ship and wondered if anyone could shed any ligt on a few questions

What is the inroom entertainment like with regarsd to TV? I know so many people say they dont go on a cruise to stay in their cabin but we love relaxing in bed with a good film on! Do the suites offer DVD players at all?

Is there any difference between tv offerings in balcony cabins and suites? Have seen some good prices on suites for a Fjords trip in the summer so am tempted!

Are the suites worth the extra money from a balcony? Its hard to tell how large they are- looking at a B1-B5- any thoughts on the benefits between those?

We have always sailed with Cunard- can anyone comment on any big difference in food quality between the two? we are a little bit tired of the ultra formalness of Cunard and like the idea of some of the new things on offer on the britannia- any thouhts or observations welcome

They sound like a much better film selection!

we were on the 26-30 Novenmber short cruise on the QM2 and the films they chose to show were appalling. Not titles we had even heard of- and totally bizarre (Cuba Fury, Belle to name two).

It seems such a waste of a great cinema facility. Are Cunard just going cheap by showing these films with nobody actors?

The in-room TV systems are poorer than they were ten years ago when we first sailed on her. Between shows there is a huge gap-maybe ten minutes at time- the popular films like Maleficent were showing only in German or Spanish and never in English and overall the TV is pretty much unwatchable. Cunard really need to get their act together in regards to this- other cruise lines are leap years ahead with TV shows on demand and much better options.

Hello- does anyone know if Cunard have discarded the onboard questionnaire system that they used to have at the end of a cruise? we were on the 26-30 November QM 2 short cruise to le Havre and Zeebrugge and were anticipating a questionnaire! Many positives on the cruise but some disappointments we wanted to express on the questionnaire.

Hello all,

We have cabin 8005 booked on the Queen Victoria for the Fjord cruise departing 1st July 2010.

Can anyone tell us if there is any noise problems in relation to being underneath the spa and gym? I would think the spa might not be too problematic but the thought of aerobic classes and pumping music early in the morning might have an effect?

Any help appreciated! My partner is a very light sleeper and we had a terrible time above the Royal court Theatre on the QM2 a few years back so am hoping to hear good news!
