Captain Vancouver

John and Jan from New Westminster here. We did a 7-day from Vancouver return in 2018 on the Westerdam, last cruise of the season, and enjoyed it so much we've gone for double the fun. Looking forward to trying a smaller ship at the beginning of the season. Anyone have any advice about the Maasdam?

I understand that the library is going to be removed. That is a real pity. It was great to be able to surf the New York Times on the complimentary PCs and borrow books to read elsewhere. Doubt I will buy specialty coffees now that there is not going to be a fun place to sit and enjoy them. A "penny wise, pound foolish" idea to shut the library down. Meanwhile, Cunard is boasting about the size of its libraries. (Queen Mary 2 has 8,000 books.)

Can someone clarify for me the rules on bringing wine aboard at embarkation. Are my wife and I permitted 2 bottles of wine?

Can anyone recommend a laundromat easily reached by taxi from the Norfolk cruise terminal? Directions? Advice?
