You have to go back unfortunately. If you are on a cruise ship you can only book through them. That is not only according the contract with the cruise lines but also then your return will be in time before departure of the ship. If you are staying in a hotel you can book through Vallarta Adventures.

Thank you! I'm on a B2B, so I'll book them separately - appreciate the info.

Indeed both are at the same place. Las Caletas during the day for a beach vacation, Ritmo at the end of the day/everning for a show incl. buffet dinner.

I will be going on a Panorama cruise in February (onicron willing) - can I book both of these excursions? Is there a place to change/freshen up before dinner? Can I stay at Las Caletas or do I have to go back took the ship and back again? TIA for any info you have! I've been on many cruises (all in the Carribean), but never booked two excursions in one day.

  3. Does Carnival provide a wheelchair/escort that one can use to get from check-in at the terminal (specifically, Galveston) on to the ship? If they do, do they drop you at the entrance or escort you to the elevator? Once I get to the elevator I can do ok with a cane, but getting to the shop can be troublesome. Thanks!

  4. I am booked on a Hawaii cruise 4/16, post Carnival "pause" in sailings. Hawaii's governor has announced that all visitors must enter a 14 day quarentine upon arrival through May, which, obviously, would not allow cruisers to debark at any ports. (source below)

I expect that my sailing will be canceled, regardless of whether or not Carnival extends its "pause," but have not heard anything from Carnival. Has anyone?

My TA told me. I'm not sure where she heard it from but shes usually right

Bummer - we will (we're supposed to) stop there on April 6th, and it's one of my favorite places! Things change so rapidly, though, that maybe Carnival will come to some agreement with them before then.

  6. I recently booked with a bounce back offer, but upgraded my room from an ocean view to a balcony. Is there price protection for what I paid for the upgrade? If so, how would I find it or track it?

Just curious - it was only $150 pp for the upgrade to a Lido balcony for a 7 day, which I don't think was too much.

  7. I posted this on FB but thought I would ask here as well. I am on the Magic which returns to Port Canaveral on May 21. I want to book another cruise out of Miami that leaves on May 21 as well. I found a shuttle that goes between Port Canaveral and Miami (link below). Has anyone ever done this before or traveled between these two ports for a same day cruise? What transportation did you use? Thanks in advance for any info!

  8. Would you recommend Marriott, Carambola, or Shipwreck for a 10 year old who is an avid swimmer and snorkeler? I have reserved spots at Carambola, but I'm afraid it may be too dull for her, even if we walk down to Shipwreck. Thoughts?
