Thank you for this post.. just revoked the charging privileges for my kids on the next cruise, we bought them arcade credits but I would like to know when these run out and they need more.. not an open account.

We are traveling with 3 kids, ages 6, 10 and 14 and chose the two connecting rooms option... two bathrooms was the main reason..

Do a google search on images and you will find many posts... I do not post a link here in case that is not allowed on the forum.. but just did the search and its all there.

To keep a peaceful marriage.. and after reading all your comments, I told her last night.. Very happy about my idea but thankful I told her before the trip. We agreed that my plans were about 95% complete, but she preferred to be involved in that 5% and re-check the other 95% I thought I figured out.
.Thank you all for your ideas and comments.

Punta Cana is about 45 minute drive from La Romana. Road in perfect conditions almost a straight line.
Punta Cana is a tourist region with malls, restaurants and different activities. As with any tourist destination, you will have different experiences depending on the places you choose and the budget you manage there. Large shopping mall, good food, many options.
Bavaro is about 15-20 minutes from Punta Cana. More people, hypermarkets, fast food restaurants..
Cap Cana (Juanillo Beach) is about 10 minutes from Punta Cana... Amazing place. You can spend the day at the beach there and eat lunch at a restaurant in the middle of everything.
La Romana is more of a town with Casa de Campo next to it. I have no clue on how entrance to Casa de Campo works but there is Golf, Beach, Shooting Range, Tenis, a Marina.. restaurants.

Kids are old enough, just never on a cruise before and have no clue this is a possibility.
Thank you again for your time.

I am traveling with my wife and kids to the parks in Orlando for a week... Kids have no clue about the parks or the trip.... a cruise is not even on their vocabulary...
However, my wife knows about the parks but has no clue I booked us all on Harmony the day she thinks we are traveling back home..
I thought... on the way to the airport.. just keep going.. it is a straight line to Port Canaveral anyway, and tell them we are going to see the ships on port before we drop the car off...
Do you think she will like the surprise or she would like to know in advance... I am telling her to pack some nice clothes for Orlando in case we want to take the kids to a restaurant, the rest of the wardrobe is similar to what you would wear at the parks anyway...
Any thoughts.... I may have the best of intentions but you never know.

I just made the booking for the family, we have about 500 of on board credit. However, when I reserve online restaurants and activities the Royal Caribbean website is giving me a total to charge on checkout.. Will this be on my cruise bill or do I have to use my credit card now and this will not touch my on board credit balance?
If I would like this to be used from that On Board Credit, does it mean I am not able to reserve in advance?
Thank you

I realized that I made platinum after checking my Rccl account and probably will get the pins on my next cruise.. will put them on and go to the Windjammer and ask for some Grey Poupon...
Congrats to the thread owner on reaching a new level.. the most valuable part are the life experiences you had on the way...
