We have an upcoming cruise that was booked through a travel agent. I always book myself, but this time it was booked by a friend with an agent. Just not sure how the online check in stuff works. Are we still responsible for that? Does one of us do it for the others in the stateroom? If so, what information is needed at that time? Thanks in advance 🙂 

Hi friends! Just got an amazing deal on 8 day southern Caribbean in December. Never did that long in an inside room. Had to choose between forward (very forward) deck 9 or mid deck 1. I chose the deck 9, because I don’t like the idea of being that low on the ship. Will I be sorry? I just couldn’t pass up the deal that I got. $500 for 2 with $200 OBC. Tell me what I’m going to love about Horizon! Also, if I waitlist for early dining, what are my chances? (Anytime right now) Thanks!

Thanks everyone! He can dress as he likes, but he was worried that he would be the only one without a jacket. Not having to bring one makes packing much easier! Thanks to everyone for your help/assistance! Less than 48 hours until we board!

Help me out here folks. My BF and I are leaving on Freedom in 2 days. He is insisting that he needs to take a suit jacket. I’m telling him that he doesn’t need anything other than a nice shirt and pants for the more formal dinner. It’s been many years since I sailed on Carnival, so thanks for the information. He really just wants to make sure that he’s not the only one without a jacket. They’re a pain to pack 🙄

Just saw recent weather reports. Winds 20-25. Is that too windy to tender?

So as to keep our gambling expenses separate, I signed my BF and I both on separate credit cards. However, when I go the summary, it shows both cards under both of our names, but only lists each of us as able to purchase on our own credit cards. Is that typical?

When reading that list of amenities, I don’t see freedom listed.

Sailing on Freedom on 12/1. Just got an upgrade offer from mid ship balcony on deck 7 to spa deck 1102 for $26. Should I? Never had a cabin on top/front of ship.

Hello all! We are young 60’s couple. Both of us love all kinds of travel, but we have only cruised on large ocean ships. I took a wonderful group tour two years ago with my daughter. We traveled to Paris and the Normandy region of France. I absolutely fell in love with that region, and I want to return with my significant other. He is a great travel parter and loves history. My concerns include food,  (he eats no fish/seafood) and doesn’t like a lot of things 🙄) timing (not sure of weather) or whether or not we should just travel there on our own and use trains and rental cars. I’m pretty adventurous, so that isn’t a far stretch for me. Thanks for any comments/advice you can provide!

There are now cold brew tea bags, so you could take those and make/keep in your cabin. Just a thought. I’m an iced tea drinker as well, so that’s going to be my plan.

I’m pretty sure it was an early saver rate. Could I get future cruise credit? I would be happy to reschedule, but don’t think we can do it right now due to family/job conflicts.

I have a dilemma. I put a $490 deposit on a February cruise. Includes cruise protection. Because of my BF’s new job (he can’t take off certain days of the month) and his disdain for private islands, I can’t seem to find a good way to book at another time. Can I save the credit for whenever? Do I have to lose all of that deposit? Our final payment isn’t due until November, so I have some time, but I’m hitting a brick wall here.

UPDATE! Thanks for all of your help/suggestions. She was able to call her state health department today, and she already got her electronic vaccination record from the health department of her state. Yay!

She works for a hospital. She received it at work, and she contacted them some time ago. They said that they couldn’t reissue, and they sent her a copy of her health mychart record. Looks like she is going to have to contact her state health department to get documentation. Our cruise isn’t until 3/22, so we have time. Thanks everyone,

She found a contact in her state. Going to email tomorrow. It shows in her mychart medical records online, but that probably won’t be enough
