Hi there, we are docking at Red Hook Pier in Brooklyn on the Caribbean Princess. Are there tours available as you disembark? We prefer to just walk off and pick up a tour but this is our first time to NY and we understand there is not much at Red Hook. Should we book a ships tour to be safe.? We don't want to walk a long way to the subway or count on cabs as I have read that it is problematic getting cabs to come back to the ship. Thanks for the help.

Scary, I am really worried about this but can't do much as got a great deal. Will have to just be brave, at least some light will be coming in. I was in an inside cabin once and swore never again.

We are booked in an obstructed view on The Jewel too. Not impressed if this will be the case. Don't expect much but frosted, bummer. We got a smoking deal so can't really complain but I am claustrophobic so it could be huge for me. We are on for 19 days so am a bit worried. I may be out of the cabin all the time if this is the case. What happened to truth in advertising, the pics showed views of the lifeboats but at least a bit of natural light. Argh!!!
