  1. Does Vista have a nightclub or offer dancing (live music/DJ, no preference) every night? We are not those dance in the atrium people (way fun to watch but you won't catch my two left feet doing that) but we do enjoy a good place to relax and dance on a dedicated dance floor. Any insight from those of you who have been on Vista would be appreciated.

What is referred to as a nightclub/dancing (from the pictures I found) didn't really appear to match that listing.

  2. Never been on Vista so I am looking for someone that could provide a little insight into the nightlife...

Do they have a good nightclub for dancing (good dance floor, music, etc)? Is it DJ, live music or a mixture? Was crowd size good? Any advice or pictures would be greatly appreciated.

We have been on Freedom before where they do have a pretty decent club but from the pictures (that I could find) of Vista...that was unclear. So it is that battle of book on a new ship or stay with what you know.

I’m new to doing a back to back cruise so I’m hoping those of you that have done it can help me. I’ve read that we are escorted off the ship last, go through customs and then back on board. What about our new sail and sign card for the next cruise? I am wanting to meet my daughter and son in law for lunch at the pier and to get off the ship for a couple of hours. Will there be a special entrance for us or will we have to stand in line with all the people embarking the ship? Sorry about the ignorance but this is a first for me so I need help from the experts!

We did a b2b in Dec 17 on Freedom. We had two options 1) escorted off ship / processed right back on with crew member or 2) leave the ship on our own and return later. The letter states that a new S&S card would be provided prior to disembarkation but that didn't happen. We did get the "in-transit" card which worked perfectly. We ran some errands in Galveston, got some lunch, and went back to port. When we were ready to board, just showed the in-transit card at priority check-in and an employee escorted us through all the lines, got our new picture taken and back to the room. The new S&S cards were available outside our cabin. You will get a letter explaining the process on the last night. Don't know if you are changing cabins, but if you are, they will move all your luggage. You just leave it in your old stateroom and then it gets shifted to the new one. Pretty awesome!:cool:

  4. I am currently sitting in FLL for another 5 hours as I wait for my flight home. I just got off of the 8 night Christmas cruise that stopped in Grand Turk, San Juan, St.Maarten and St.Kitts. I'm open to any questions, I'll be honest!

Happy New Year to all!! :D
