Thank you! This was particularly helpful. While I don't want to have to spend extra money on an excursion that I could pay $75 for, for a long excursion, I'd rather pay the extra just in case. I certainly don't want to be stuck finding my own way to the next port!

Hello, I wanted to hear some experiences with cruise excursions through the ship. I'm still in college so I guess you could say I'm a little cheap-- I like to think frugal, but if I'm going to spend the money I'd like a great experience. We're going to Belize and we're planning on Lamanai, but the trip is $109.
If anyone has experienced this specific excursion, did you enjoy yourselves even if it was through the ship? If you haven't been on this excursion, have your excursions through the ship been worth the extra $$?

Hello again,
We're booked on the Liberty of the Seas next week (I know, so last minute) and we just decided what excursions we want to do. We decided on Lamanai for Belize, and because that's a long day, we're booking through the ship. With a long day in Belize, we wanted to relax at Nachi Cocom the next day, but they're sold out for the day. We'd still like to relax, but we're also interested in snorkeling if there are any good spots in Cozumel.
We're open to ANY suggestions!
Thanks!

We'll be on the Liberty of the Seas next week and we still haven't chosen an excursion for Belize. If you have seen Lamanai or been snorkeling at Hol Chan/ Shark Ray Alley, which did you prefer? We're not trying to spend too much money, but it looks like it's about $90 for either.

Hello! My boyfriend and I will be in Belize City from 9-6 on march 31st. We both love adventure and don't want to lay around on the beach or hang out at the bars. He's dying to snorkel in Hol Chan, but there is virtually no way to plan this out. Most snorkel trips start at 9 or 2, and Ambergris Caye is a long boat ride away from Belize City. Has anyone successfully done this trip UNDER $150 per person within the time constraints?
As much as I want to make this happen for him, I refuse to pay that much for some snorkeling.

I'm planning on going to Chocolateria Isla Bella in cozumel, because I heard the chocolates are amazing. I was also thinking about bringing back some Mexican vanilla and authentic soda. Anyone know exactly what can and can not be brought back onto the ship?
Also, any other recommendations of things to get or do while we're in Cozumel?

I just scored a pretty good deal for a 5 night on Liberty at the end of this month for $590 for two (hope that's a good deal lol). Seeing as though I've only been on the older ships (Majesty and Enchantment), I'm SO excited for this cruise.
We've been thinking about the snorkeling in Hol Chan but we don't really want to spend the extra $100 per person just to fly to Ambergris Caye and make it in time. We don't arrive until 9 AM and we leave at 6, but there are typically only two snorkeling trips by most companies- one at 9 and one at 2. Should we just ditch the snorkeling in Belize? I know it's supposed to be wonderful, but it seems like it will take SO much time and $$ to get out there.
Anyway, my boyfriend and I love a good adventure, and we wanted to know what your top suggestions are for things to do in Cozumel & Belize City. Places to eat, shop, things to see and do, all of that! :D
Best authentic restaurants!

I'm leaving in just three days () for my cruise to Cozumel and Belize. I've chosen to snorkel at the Palancar, Colombia, and El Cielo reefs. This, however, will only be about 3 or 4 hours. Something I look forward to the most when I travel is FOOD! I love trying food in new places, especially food that isn't Americanized.
So, I'd love to hear what some of your favorite restaurants are in Cozumel! I don't care about places like C&C, I'm looking for reasonable and authentic restaurants. (If they have good drinks, even better! :p)
